Silver & Gold

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!!

I thought I would share a lovely Christmas card -

As most of you know... next to Fall, Christmas is my other FAVORITE
time of the year - I love how they both just flow into each other -
Makes me Very HAPPY!!! So today I thought I would try to
inspire you to get started making those holiday cards!

Look... mine are all done for this year - YES I'm a nut case...
BUT, when you think about ALL the other things you're trying to do
during the holidays, wouldn't it be nice to have your handmade
cards off that list? Early? even better! Just sayin' (Wink Wink)

This card was fairly easy to make - I started off with a
piece of White Cardstock (Neenah Solar White)
and I stamped my Ornament image front and center with
Brilliance Starlite Silver ink, then poured some
Ultra Fine Silver Embossing on top of it, then heat set it

I then took a pair of my Tim Holtz scissors and cut the center
out of my ornament - Since I had plans on turning this into
a shaker I wanted my sentiment on my card front
before I did anything else - So I did the same process
as the ornament - once that was done -
I grabbed a Wonky Stitch die and die cut my white
card front for that finished look -

Now I can complete my shaker - I found some pretty Christmas
paper in my stash that had silver & gold to it (Perfect)
and I grabbed a piece of Acetate and now I'm ready to
get the shaker part together - I adhered the acetate to the backside
of the white card front - then added Stampin' Up Dimensional
Stripes around the circle - Added an assortment of Silver
& Gold Sequins then added the Designer paper to seal it off

Flipped it over and started to shake, shake, shake! (Always so fun)

I then added some Fun Foam to the backside of my shaker
for an even look and dimension - Then I folded a White card base
in half (A2 Size) - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Top Folding
Then I found a lovely piece of foil silver on white designer Paper
and thought that would look nice behind my shaker
so I cut it down to fit the front of my White Card base
and attached it with some adhesive

Then I grabbed the shaker that was on the fun foam
and attached it to my silver/white card base

Of course, it needed some final touches, so I adhered
some of the silver & gold sequins to the front of my card
and then made a double bow using some
Silver & Gold Elastic Cording I had -

And now another Holiday card ready to go in the mail!!!

Go Wild

Good Morning Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place taking over the blog today.

I Hope you all had a great Easter! Now spring is well under way who is starting to think of camping?

My card today shows the reasons why I don't camp very well!

Yep all those critters that like to invade your space as well as suck the life out of you!

That said Raisin Boat's Happy Camper is the most adorable stamp set where you can get to enjoy the outdoors whilst in the safety of the craft room!

I colored the images with markers and then had my die cutter fussy cut the critters. I matted a card base with green card and placed the card with my campfire and sentiments on in the center of the card. I then die cut an aperture from some patterned paper and adhered this over my camp fire.
I then used 2 decreasing circle dies to cut a frame and added acetate to this. I placed the flower confetti onto my card and using foam squares glued my "window" over the aperture.
My little critters were then glued in place don't ya just love this crazy raccoon!

He is the perfect pizza thief!

Conversation Hearts

Hi, and welcome, everyone! Lisa, from The Relativity of Paper,  with you today I'm sharing a Valentine's Day card featuring the Victorine Originals Conversation Hearts and Happy Valentine's Day Stamps.

My first thought was to stamp the hearts on the inside of the shaker and then maybe have them added to the sequins. Once I gathered everything and started assembling I went off in a totally different direction, nothing new there.

To get started I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the outline of a jar. You could use a die-cut or stamp a jar and fussy cut. I added acetate to the back of the cut-out jar and 3D mounting foam to the back. I ran a piece of kraft cardstock through my BigKick using a heart themed embossing folder, added sequins, removed the backing, carefully, from 3D mounting foam, and covered with embossed kraft cardstock to enclose the sequins, creating a shaker. The hard part is done. Stamp the conversation hearts and sentiment using Memento Ink-Tuxedo Black and color with COPIC markers, R29, RV55, RV53, RV000. Using my scan n cut to cut the hearts, you can fussy cut these hearts, there's not much to them, add 3D mounting foam to the back and start stacking them in the corner of the jar. To add more dimension I layered a few hearts with two layers of 3D mounting foam. Die-cut sentiment using banner die, add 3D mounting foam to back and adhere to front of the card. Finish off with a few clear sequins.

As always, thanks for joining me today!

Joy Shaker --

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!!
YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a Wonderful
Christmas Shaker Card!

Super Simple CAS Style card! I'm using the Lovely Large Joy with Ornament
Stamp - I like that it covers a good portion of my card and that it has
elegant handwriting for that extra flair!

I started, by Heat Embossing the JOY Stamp with Versamark ink & some
(Holly Daze) Embossing powder - It has a Red & Green
mixture in it - After I did that I cut out the center on the ornament.
so I can create my shaker circle -

I used a Stitched Rectangle Die for a nice
bordered edge - I then added a piece of acetate and
used some Scotch Dimension Adhesive to pop up
the backside so I can add my assorted sequins/beads

I cut a Circle out of a piece of Doodlebug Designer paper to cover
over my Shaker ornament Circle, then added more Scotch Dimension Adhesive
for the rest of my 4 x 5 1/4 white card front, so it would
sit evenly on my Hunter Green Card base -

I added a few more sequins to the front of my card, just to
tie it all together - and I really like the classic look of it!

Mouse Shaker Card

Hello everyone!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with you today.  I have this bright shaker card to share with you.
I started by stamping the V.O. Mouse With Umbrella stamp (also part of the Mouse Set 1) with Versafine Onyx Black ink on watercolor paper.  I used Crayola Watercolor pencils and an aqua brush to color in the image.  I made it into a shaker card using GMD double pierced circle in and out dies, acetate, foam tape and sequins.
I used a GMD stitched rectangle die for the front panel.  The papers I used are from Doodlebug Design Fun In The Sun 6x6 pad.  The sentiment is from V.O. Floral and Sayings stamp set and I added some GMD Watermelon Colors enamel dots around it.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
