Rainbow Floral Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back to another Wednesday post with Beth's Beauties!  I don't know about you, but I definitely have spring fever and have been making lots of bright and spring themed projects lately.  This card uses the Raisin Boat Cherry Blossom and No Loss For Words stamp sets.
The other necessary tool to create this card was a stamp platform.  I cut a piece of cardstock and found the middle, then positioned the floral stamp just to one side of the center line.  As you can see, I alternated the direction of the stamp...but really, all I did was flip the paper end for end each time I stamped.  Very simple with a stamp platform!  The colors of SB.com inks I used include: Confetti Pink, Orange Spice, Daffodil, Succulent, Mermaid, Mardi Gras plus Black was used for the sentiment which was from the RB No Loss For Words stamp set.  I matted the floral panel with black cardstock, added a few sequins and the card was done!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Butterfly Birthday...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!

Today I thought I would share a Butterfly Birthday -

I made myself another rainbow card! Since I already
had the items out from the last rainbow card I made
I thought I could make a second one at the same time!

*** To see my Other Rainbow Card (CLICK HERE) ***

So I used a scrap piece of Canson Watercolor paper
and some of my Distress Oxides
- All I did was blend an assortment of Distress Oxides
onto the watercolor paper then added a few drops of
water here & there and then dried it with my heat tool.

I also took a strip of black & white Designer Paper
from Doodlebug and layered the 2 pieces
onto my 110lb. Recollections White Cardbase

I already had the butterflies completed when I
made my last Rainbow card - I used the
Beautiful Raisin Boat Stamp set called (IMAGINE)
I just Popped them up on my card with some
Dimensional Foam Dots...

The Happy Birthday Sentiment is a Victorine
Originals Stamp and I really like how it
fills out the bottom portion of my card!

I then added some pretty Ice cube Jewels
to complete the design... and now it's ready to be
used for someone's birthday!!!

I also wanted to share the inside of my card with you -
I like having the insides completed at the same time as
the outside - This way it's ready to go when I need it!

I'm using another Victorine Originals Sentiment -
This one is called (Very best of birthdays)
and I just cut a strip of the rainbow paper I made
just to tie it all together!!!

Rainbow Friendship....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!! ðŸ˜ƒ

Today I thought I would share a Sweet Friendship card -

I really wanted to make myself a rainbow card! So I pulled out
some of my Distress Oxides and a piece of Canson Watercolor
paper - All I did was blend an assortment of Distress Oxides
onto the watercolor paper then added a few drops of
water here & there and then dried it with my heat tool.

Once it was completely dried, I pulled out
my embossing static tool to avoid any static
before starting my embossing -- then I pulled out the
Beautiful Raisin Boat Stamp set called (Imagine) and
stamped the large swirl stamp with some versamark ink
onto my blended background...
I grabbed my Ultra Fine Black embossing powder
and poured that over my stamped image, then heat set it

It was beautiful just as is... BUT... I wanted a butterfly too!
So I took a scrap piece of watercolor paper and did
some more Distress Oxide ink blending and proceeded
the same process of using my Static tool, then stamping
the butterfly in versamark ink, then adding the black
embossing powder, then heat set it -

I then Fussy cut my butterfly out and before I could
layer my butterfly I grabbed a Stitched Rectangle die
to cut my card front down just a smidge. Then I added
my butterfly with some dimensionals to pop it up!

I placed my card front on a piece of white Fun Foam
then placed it on top of my white card base -

Only after this, did I realize I wanted a sentiment!
Happens all the time to me!! How about you??? LOL

Anyway I grabbed the Victorine Originals
Stamp sentiment (I'm so glad to have a friend like you)
and stamped it in the corner with some Memento Tuxedo
black ink (Using my Misti) of course --

I then added some pretty Ice cube Jewels to
complete the design... and now it's ready to be
mailed to one of my crafty friends!!! :)

One Layer Rainbow Inspired Birthday Card

Hi, everyone and welcome! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a fun rainbow inspired birthday card with you today. Summer is upon us and everyone wants to be outside soaking up the sun and enjoying family time by the pool, right?  So today is all about keeping it simple with this one layer birthday card. This card is quick and simple, can be used for any occasion. So let's jump into this thing.

To create this card you need four things: ink, paper, stamping tool and the VO Dots Stamp Set.
A stamping tool makes life so much easier no matter what you are stamping but especially so when stamping with this overlay technique but no worries, you can achieve this with an acrylic block too.

Here's a close-up that really explains how to do this. Simply stamp the dot overlaying each color as you move your paper when using a stamping tool. The stamping tool has the gridlines that allow you to align your paper and keep it straight while positioning it.

Curious about other products used to create this card? Then jump over to The Relativity of Paper for a complete supply list.
