Tractor Birthday Card

Welcome to another Wednesday project from Beth's Beauties!  This time I have a masculine card to share that uses the Raisin Boat Homegrown and Flourishing Thoughts stamp sets.
First of all, I stamped the awesome tractor stamp from the Raisin Boat Homegrown set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Once that was dry, I used watercolor pencils and a water brush to add the color.  The panel was die cut with a GMD stitched rectangle die, then matted with a black rectangle die cut with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die.  The panel was popped up with foam tape onto the card base.
The patterned papers in TPS Yee-Haw! paper pad were perfect for this card.  The sentiment was from the Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts stamp set and was stamped with SB.com Succulent ink.  To embellish, I added burlap ribbon and dots of silver Pearl Pen (which were not centered like I had originally intended...oops!).  I guess imperfection is part of life, right?
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Father Sunset Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  Once again, I am using the beautiful Raisin Boat Pier Happiness stamp set to create a card.
It is a simple card with all the stamping done in black ink!  The wow factor is the ink blending to create a sunset scene.  I simply love the sentiment on the card.  I tried to keep that same heartfelt message with the trees and birds, showing a "father and child" in both areas of the card.
The sunset blending was created with Scrapbook.com inks in Daffodil, Orange Spice, and Mardi Gras.  I blended Midnight Blue ink in from the outer edges as well.  Distress Oxide inks also blend beautifully and this scene could easily be re-created with those as well.  I simply matted the stamped layer onto black cardstock to create the card front and it was complete.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Pier Scene Card

Hello all and welcome back to another Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here. This card was created with the recently restocked Raisin Boat Pier Happiness and No Loss For Words stamp sets.  I really enjoyed creating this scene!
I used several colors of inks on this card, as you can see.  I received new Scrapbook.com hybrid inks for Christmas, and have loved experimenting with them.  First of all, I stamped the pier with Black ink and watercolored it with Cinnamon ink and an aqua brush.  I then filled in the rest of the scene with stamps, starting with the rocks.  Those were stamped with Charcoal ink and watercolored with Rainy Day ink.  The tree was next, being stamped with Pine and Cinnamon inks.
The grass was stamped with Succulent ink and I did some second generation and partial stamping of the grass too.  I added sand stamped with Camel ink and geese flying with Rainy Day ink.  To finish off the sky, I used Daffodil ink to blend a little sunshine in from the top right corner.
The water was created by watercoloring with Postal Blue ink.  I decided I wanted to add a sentiment, so I chose "Thinking of you" from the No Loss For Words stamp set and stamped it in black.  To finish off the scene, I lightly blended Rainy Day ink around the outside edges.  Once I matted it with black and navy cardstock, it was ready to be adhered to a card base.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thank You Sketch Card

Hello and Happy New Year!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  I decided to kick off 2020 with a card style that we ALL can use...a thank you card.
The stamp that I used is a red rubber Victorine Originals Thank You.  I placed the cling mounted stamp on my stamp platform and stamped it with Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue Ink.  I cleaned my stamp off, leaving it on the platform, then used Versamark Ink to re-stamp.  I then heat embossed with clear embossing powder for a little extra visual interest.  I added a little brown ink around the edge of the stamped rectangle then popped it up with foam tape onto the card base.  The base of the card was created with navy blue cardstock, DCWV Cartographer patterned paper, In The Navy Trendy Twine, and metal brads.  This card was perfect to send off as a thank you for Christmas gifts!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Train Birthday Card

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with this train birthday card.  The Victorine Originals 1502 train stamp is one I have had for several years...in fact when I created with this stamp a couple of years ago and shared it on Facebook, it started the ball rolling for me to be a part of the SumMore Fun design team!
I started by stamping the train onto gray flecked cardstock using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and my stamp platform.  I wanted the front part of the train track to stick out from the circle die cut, so I fussy cut around that area and traced around the outline of the die so I would know where I wanted the stamp to end up.
Then I slid the circle die under the area of the train track that I had fussy cut and lined up the die with the circle I had drawn on the paper.  I then die cut it with my Spellbinders Platinum 6.
Here it is all matted with a black circle and popped up with foam tape on the card.  I used torn edge dies as well as patterned and metallic papers to add to the rustic feel of the card.
I thought the card needed a sentiment, so I got out the Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts stamp set and stamped it in black on the gray flecked paper I used Gray Licorice Trendy Twine and Black Pearl Pen dots for embellishments.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Deer Scene Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  I made this deer scene card to give to my dad for his birthday.  The stamps I used on it include the Raisin Boat Big Bucks stamp set and the Victorine Originals Grove of Trees stamp.
I started by making my background using Distress Oxides.  I blended Lucky Clover at the bottom and Broken China with a hand cut cloud mask to create the sky.  I then stamped the Grove of Trees stamp using my stamp platform two times using Pine Needles Distress Oxide.  I filled in some of the ground area with the grass stamp from the Big Bucks stamp set, once again with Pine Needles DO.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in black at the top of the background.  It also was from the Big Bucks stamp set.  The deer was from the same set and was stamped on a separate piece of paper in brown ink and I used my Brother Scan N Cut to fussy cut it.  Once I colored it with colored pencils, I glued it onto the card front.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Root Beer Float Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat Crunch Time stamp set.  I made it for my brother in law's birthday, which happens to be today.
I started out by stamping the image and sentiment onto white cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossing it with black powder.  I die cut the rectangle with a wonky stitched rectangle die and proceeded to watercolor the image with Distress Oxide inks.  I used the following colors:  Vintage Photo, Candied Apple, and Pumice Stone.  I embellished the frothy areas of the image with a snow marker.  Other elements used on this card include plaid paper from DCWV's Luxe Lodge stack, ribbon, and brads.
I also wanted to show you the inside sentiments I added to the card.  I am a person who keeps the inside of a card simple, so there is no extra decoration there, just the fun stamps from the Raisin Boat Crunch Time stamp set!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Old Fox Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses SumMore Fun's Foxy Lady stamp set.
I stamped the fox image and sentiment from the Foxy Lady stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock, clear heat embossed them, and watercolored the image with Distress Oxide inks in Rusty Hinge and Black Soot.   While that was waiting to dry, I stamped a second fox image onto a post it note and die cut around it with my Brother Scan N Cut to make a mask for the image.  When dry, I masked the fox, then used a geometric stencil and new makeup brushes to add color to the background in Broken China and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides.  The makeup brushes worked like a charm!  I then die cut the panel with a wonky stitched rectangle die.  I embellished with Paradise and Mai Tai enamel dots and the card was complete!

Here is what the entire BRAND NEW Foxy Lady stamp set looks like!  Isn't it so cute?!
Also available with this new release are Foxy Lady stickersdigi papers6x6 papers and 12x12 papers!

Foxy Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses SumMore Fun's Foxy Lady stamp set.
I stamped the fox image from Foxy Lady stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock and watercolored it with Distress Oxide inks in Rusty Hinge and Black Soot.  Once it was dry, I die cut it with a stitched circle die and matted it with another circle die cut.  The patterned papers are from DCWV's Natural stack.  I added some Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine to the banner and added GMD Sophisticated Enamel Dots as accents.
For the sentiment, I wasn't sure how well it would stamp on the metallic circles of the patterned paper, but it turned out great!  I used the embossing buddy on the paper, then stamped the sentiment from the Foxy Lady stamp set with VersaMark using my stamp platform.  When embossing, I like to re-stamp 2 or 3 times to make sure I have total coverage!  I then heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Here is what the entire BRAND NEW Foxy Lady stamp set looks like!  Isn't it so cute?!
Also available with this new release are Foxy Lady stickersdigi papers6x6 papers and 12x12 papers!

Soda Birthday Cards

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The cards I am sharing with you use the SumMore Fun Soda-Lighted stamp set.  I love that set and it is a hit with my boys too!
I decided to make several of these cards, stamping them on patterned paper that is reminiscent of different kinds of pop.  First up, the "Mountain Dew" can.  I stamped the can image with the word soda in it using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear powder.  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut it out, then made a shadow layer to matte it on also with my Scan N Cut.  The patterned papers I used for this card are from DCWV's Fiesta Forever stack.  I added highlights to the can using white gel pen.
The other cards I made use patterned papers from MME Alphabet Soup-Boy paper pad.  This one is reminiscent of Orange Fanta.  The pop can is popped up with foam tape onto the white panel with the sentiment from the Fun Soda-Lighted stamp set.  That panel was die cut using a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die.  I also stamped bubbles on the background paper from that stamp set for a little extra fun.  I added sequins to the cards with Glue Dots.
Here is a look at the 4 different styles of cards that I made using the Fun Soda-Lighted stamp set.  Fun, right?!  Using my stamp platform made making multiples so quick!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Giddy Up Cards

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The cards I am sharing with you use two Raisin Boat stamp sets called Giddy Up! and Urban Cowgirl.  Those sets work so well together!
First up, the sleek masculine card.  I promised masculine cards for you this month, and here it is!  The stitched background decoration was from the Urban Cowgirl set and the sentiment is from Giddy Up!.  They were stamped in Pumice Stone Distress Oxide.  I love how the Distress Oxides POP off of the dark cardstock!  I used my stamp platform to ensure all of my stamps were lined up perfectly and to double stamp the Distress Oxides to make them brighter.
I stamped the horse head from Giddy Up! using Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut around it using a GMD slash stitched oval die.  I also matted behind that with the larger size of die cut.  Those were popped up with foam tape.  The only embellishment was three silver adhesive dots at the bottom.
Of course I had to make a card with pink for those cowgirls too!  It was made in the same manner, but this one is more rustic than the previous card.
The main differences are the stamped background stitching in Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and the coloring in of the horse.  I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and my aqua brush to watercolor the horse.  I thought it matched the background cardstock well!  I also stamped the sentiment in black on this card to make it stand out better from the brown.
Make sure you join me again next Wednesday for another set of cards that can be loved by guys, gals, and kids alike!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Football Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I'm back with another masculine card to share this week!  It uses the Raisin Boat First Down and Varsity Locker stamp sets from SumMore Fun
I started by stamping the football field stamp from RB First Down using Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink.  I used colored pencil to shade in the goal posts.  Next, I stamped the football onto kraft cardstock using brown ink, then cut around it using my Brother Scan N Cut.  I shaded the football tee with white gel pen.  I popped that off of the football field panel with foam tape.  The sentiment was from the RB Varsity Locker stamp set and I stamped that in black.  Other products used include Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles embossing folder, Gridiron washi tape, solid color cardstocks, and Glue Dots permanent premium gluetape runner.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
