Steeping You In Love Card

Happy Sunday! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today. For a while we will be having weekend promos in which a certain stamp set will be free with your order of $35+. Awesome, right?! This weekend, through Monday, you can get the SMF Sundri's High Tea stamp set at no cost if you make a $35+ order.  Here is what I made for inspiration:
I started by stamping the white strip of cardstock with the rose stamps from Sundri's High Tea using a stamp platform and Scrapbook.com inks in the Rose group, which made a beautiful ombre effect.  From there, I stamped the teacup from Sundri's High Tea in black, colored it with markers and used a CC stitched circle die to cut around it.  The sentiment is also from the Sundri's High Tea set and was also stamped in black.  I matted all the layers of paper with black cardstock and inked around the edges of the lighter papers with SB.com Sugar Cookie ink.  I added a GMD lacey snowflake die cut in green underneath the teacup circle, which was popped up with foam tape.  The finishing touch was two Pearl Pink Pearl Pen dots in the top right corner.  The background patterned paper is from The Paper Studio's Mint Berry paper pad.

Here is a look at the Sundri's High Tea stamp set:
How do you get it for free?? To claim this deal, simply add Sundri's High Tea to your shopping cart and continue shopping at SumMore Fun. Once your order *excluding* Sundri's High Tea reaches a subtotal of $35, Sundri's High Tea will automatically be marked down!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Rainbow Floral Love Card

Hello again!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  Today I have a rainbow "love" card that could easily be used for Valentine's Day, but I actually sent this one out as a birthday card.  It works great for any occasion!
The stamp I used was from Raisin Boat's Imagine stamp set.  It is a huge stamp!  Using a stamp platform is a must for this technique.  I started inking up my stamp a little section at a time from left to right with the following Scrapbook.com inks:  Mardi Gras, Mermaid, Daffodil, Orange Spice, and Confetti Pink.  I cleaned my stamp after each color so I wouldn't transfer the ink to the next ink pad.  It was the first time I had done this technique and looking back, I wished I had taken a damp paintbrush to feather out the edges of the ink on the stamp before stamping so the lines between the darker colors would have been more blurred.  Live and learn I guess!  I think it still turned out pretty :)  I finished off the card with a die cut black cardstock layer and coordinating striped patterned paper.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Valentine Wreath Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties back with another Valentine's Day card today.  This one uses the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set, which I absolutely LOVE!
I started by stamping a white cardstock panel for the background.  I used Rainy Day SB.com ink on the wreath stamp from the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set and randomly stamped over the whole paper.  The dark gray and white scalloped circles were die cut with Cottage Cutz dies and I stamped a wreath onto the white layer with SB.com Pink Flamingo ink.  I added the tiny hearts to the wreath with Confetti Pink ink and the open hearts with Mixed Berry ink.  I filled in the open hearts with Glitter Pink Pearl Pen.
On the bottom half of the card, I added a sentiment from the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set in Mixed Berry ink and also filled the heart in with Glitter Pink Pearl Pen.  To embellish, I wrapped Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the card front before adhering it to the card base.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Rose Anniversary Card

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  This card features the SumMore Fun A Rose By Any Other Name and Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts stamp sets.
I started by stamping the corner rose stamp from A Rose By Any Other Name with my stamp platform and VersaMark ink onto Park Lane Roses paper.  I embossed it with white powder and it really made a gorgeous look!  I then added a second rectangle of patterned paper from the same pack in the bottom left corner.
The sentiment from the Flourishing Thoughts stamp set was stamped in black, then die cut around with GMD crochet lace oval dies, as was the black layer. Those were popped up with foam tape, then I added Black Pearl Pen dots around it.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Subtle Butterfly Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and today I am sharing a card that features the FREE Victorine Originals Butterfly stamp set that you get from SumMore Fun with every order over $50! Through the month of September, all orders that the subtotal is over $50.00 get the cling mounted red rubber Butterfly Set included for free!  Without further ado, here is my card:
I used two stamps from the Butterfly Set on this card.  The sentiment stamped on the black and white floral paper was stamped with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide for a subtle look.  That green matched the patterned paper so well!  I also stamped the butterfly with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto a pink patterned paper and fussy cut around the butterfly.
Before adhering the butterfly, I used my bone folder to curl the wings, then only glued the body portion to the card for a 3D effect.  All the patterned papers are from DCWV's Romantic Life stack.  I embellished with Posy Trendy Twine and silver rhinestones.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Country Style Wedding Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set.  I love that stamp set.  It has so many uses!  This time, I made a wedding card with it.
I stamped the heart from Springtime Love in tan ink, then stamped the words in black and gray.  Using a stamp platform definitely made lining all those stamps up way easier than using an acrylic block!  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut around the stamped image.  I created the background of the card using PhotoPlay Paper (We Do Collection), GMD scalloped stitched rectangle die, and silver washi tape.  I popped the stamped image up with foam tape on the center of the card.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Love Has Wings Butterfly Card

Hello again, Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today!  Two weeks ago I shared THIS butterfly card with you, and today is another butterfly card, but with an entirely different feel to it!
I started with a piece of white cardstock and stamped and embossed the gorgeous butterfly wing from the V.O. Wings Stamp Set.  Then I watered down black and yellow acrylic paint to splatter it over the white cardstock.  After that I die cut it with a GMD Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die.  The patterned paper is from DCWV's Country Floral stack and I die cut that with a GMD stitched rectangle die and cut a slit partway across from the right side to show the wing stamp.
To dress up the rest of the front I added Bumblebee Trendy Twine and an unbranded tag die cut.  I stamped a sentiment from the Wings Stamp Set and added three matte finish yellow enamel dots.
Are you ready to see ALL the awesomeness of the stamp set I used?  Here it is!
Yes, it is a huge set and oh-so-beautiful.  It measures approximately 8x8".

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
