Wishes

Hi Sharon from Fiddly Diddly Cards and Crafts taking over the blog today.

For my card design today I am using 2 of the gorgeous clear polymer stamp sets from Raisin Boat:

The first set Growing Love is has some pretty and quirky flowers as well as some accents that you can use on the flowers or along side of them. I chose one of the main flowers which looks like a dandelion, I stamped it in a light grey color. I think used a stippled effect stamp from same stamp to look like the floating seeds.
The sentiment I stamped in green is from Flourishing Thoughts stamp set. it has a large selection of sentiments that can be used for any type of card.
I matted a 4.25 x 5.5inch card base with green card in a shade similar to my sentiment ink and then added my stamped topper.
I added some iridescent white gems among the 'seeds' for added interest.

Don't forget there are some fab sales going on over on SumMore Fun Facebook page so you don't already like them now is the time to do so.

Wonderful Wings

Hi all! I'm back with a couple more cards inspired by our most recent mood board. If you haven't seen it yet, you need to go check it out as it is BEAUTIFUL!

For my first card, I used the Victorine Originals Baby Butterfly and Flower stamps and the Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts stamp set.

I started with layering some washi tape, then I used the Flower stamp. Next, I stamped and cut out my Baby Butterflies. I stamped my sentiment from Flourishing Thoughts, then I adhered my butterflies, popping them off the page.

I finished off my card by rounding the corners on the right side of the card.

For my second card, I made some fun backgrounds with my distress oxide inks. Then, I stamped my Victorine Originals Small Dragonfly stamp in various places and cut them out. I also did the same for the sentiment from the Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts stamp set.

I took a white piece of cardstock and dry embossed it for my background, then rounded the corners. I adhered the dragonflies with pop dots to the middle of the card and finished off my card by adhering it to a white card base and adding some sparkles!

Daisy Thank You

Good morning, Sharon here from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place taking over the blog.

Today's card is using a technique that has been around for a while now but this is my first attempt at it. Stamping my background using Oops a Daisy stamp set  I made an eclipse card:

I stamped one of the daisies multiple times in different orientations then colored them with alcohol markers. I then stamped the tiny swirl which is a stamp from the Curly Cute stamp set.

I then took my alpha dies and cut the words THANK YOU across the images.

I matted a white card base with yellow card and added the negative part of my stamped background.
Using pop dots I replaced the letters letting the yellow card show through.

I then replaced the center of the O and A lining it up with the images. A simple card to make but I love the effect.

Don't forget about our challenge where you can win win a gift certificate to SumMore Fun? Oh and the prize doubles if you use stamps from  the store!

Thank You For Everything....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
And it's my day to take over the blog!!! YAY for me... 🙌

I'm so excited to share a Lovely Thank you card.

I was really drawn to the Flower pot frame stamp... I think it's
because you can color it, along with add anything to the center.
I wanted a sentiment in the center of mine... So I went
with a couple of different stamps - I'm using the small "Thank You" Stamp
along with the "Happy Everything" Stamp -- What I did was cut my
Happy Everything Stamp in half.. so I could just use the "Everything" Word.
I love that most about any stamp.... You can cut them and use them
where you need them on a project! My Card design is Mojo Monday Sketch #479.

Shabby Blue Flower

Good morning, everyone!  My name is Holly and I'm excited to be a design team member for Victorine Originals.  I've been playing with this beautiful flower stamp called Bush Morning Glory, and I loved how this looked in blue.  I decided to go for a monochromatic card for my first VO post today.

I stamped this gorgeous flower with Stormy Sky distress ink onto some white cardstock.  Then I used a wet paint brush and "colored in" in the flower.  I added a little extra ink to the star-like center so it would pop out.  I love the shabby chic feel of this soft blue flower.  To enhance the shabby theme, I sponged some brown ink on the edges and then distressed them with a distress tool.  I did the same thing with the other white layer in the background before tying some blue seam binding around the flower.

Check back here every day to see gorgeous artwork from my fellow design team members.  Don't forget, we also have a fun challenge for you to play along and share your own artwork with us.  The current challenge (#3) is Fathers, so show us your masculine cards and projects.
