Soda Birthday Cards

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The cards I am sharing with you use the SumMore Fun Soda-Lighted stamp set.  I love that set and it is a hit with my boys too!

I decided to make several of these cards, stamping them on patterned paper that is reminiscent of different kinds of pop.  First up, the "Mountain Dew" can.  I stamped the can image with the word soda in it using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear powder.  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut it out, then made a shadow layer to matte it on also with my Scan N Cut.  The patterned papers I used for this card are from DCWV's Fiesta Forever stack.  I added highlights to the can using white gel pen.

The other cards I made use patterned papers from MME Alphabet Soup-Boy paper pad.  This one is reminiscent of Orange Fanta.  The pop can is popped up with foam tape onto the white panel with the sentiment from the Fun Soda-Lighted stamp set.  That panel was die cut using a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die.  I also stamped bubbles on the background paper from that stamp set for a little extra fun.  I added sequins to the cards with Glue Dots.

Here is a look at the 4 different styles of cards that I made using the Fun Soda-Lighted stamp set.  Fun, right?!  Using my stamp platform made making multiples so quick!

Soda-Lighted We're Friends!

Hello, this is Jeanette from the design team. I'm soda-lighted you've stopped by the blog today!

Don't you just love a play on words? I know I do. So when I find a stamp set like the SumMore Fun Soda-Lighted set, I gravitate toward them. Just look at the fun sentiment, which of course is in the set...

You can also see that I've added some clear dots (Cloud 9 Rain Dots) to some of the bubbles, as well as for some embellishment in the bottom left corner of the card. 

The soda cans on the front of the card, which I colored with Copic Markers, are fairly large, which looks great on the card front, but I'm glad there's also a smaller can in the stamp set, which I used on the inside of my card.

Bubbly Birthday

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team with a card I made with one of the newly released stamp sets from SumMore Fun. I love the Soda-lighted stamp set with its awesome images (what's not to love about a can of bubbly cola, right?) and great sentiments!

Now I know - because I've lived a lot of places - that some geographical areas call it Soda. Others call it Pop. (Some areas even refer to all of them as Coke.) My Grandpa always called it Soda Pop, unless he was teasing me about trading my Grandma off for Sodie-Pop. 

I tried to play it safe and used the Cola stamp on my can:

I added some "bubbly" rhinestones to some of the bubbles 

to give it some dimension:

The little strip of balloons (on the blue bubbles designer paper) is some Washi Tape. 

I thought it added a festive touch to my card.
