Sewing Scraps Card

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  This time I am bringing back one of my very first Victorine Originals stamp sets...the Sewing set.  It has been three years since I first got this set and still love it to pieces!
This card was different for me.  It is supposed to look like fabric scraps and therefore is haphazard.  NOT how I usually create, but the Carta Bella Sew Lovely paper scraps were begging to be used!  I simply adhered the patterned paper onto the 5x7'' card base and then filled in the gaps with stamps from the Sewing set in brown ink.
The sentiment was also stamped in brown and is from the Victorine Originals Floral and Sayings stamp set, ANOTHER of my absolute favorites! <3  The only embellishments were some buttons and a a little sewing thread through a couple of them.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Sewing Shirt Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. The card I am sharing with you uses stamps from Victorine Originals' Sewing set which I absolutely LOVE!
I started by stamping the background paper with images from that set in VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  I layered up the card using more patterned papers from DCWV's Hello Darlin' stack and finished with the top layer of a shirt that was cut from a My Scrap Chick SVG.  I added more stamping to the shirt.
I embellished with button brads, ruler washi tape, enamel dots, and a sentiment tag that was tied with Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine.
Here is a close up of stamping and all the different layers!  You can find more details on this card on my blog.
Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Vintage Sewing Machine Card

Happy Friday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with you and today I am back with another card that uses a vintage sewing stamp from Victorine Originals.
Believe me when I say, the Sewing Set stamps called out to me!  How could I resist that antique Singer sewing machine?  One summer when our family's sewing machine was not working, I used my Grandma's treadle sewing machine to make a dress,  Oh the memories!
All of the papers I used are from DCWV's Minty Lace stack.  I thought they coordinated with the stamp perfectly!  I also used stitched rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs and the stamped panel was die cut with a Cottage Cutz Stitched Square die.  I used a doily (from a retired My Craft Spot die), crinkle seam binding, corsage pins, buttons, artist safety pin and charm for embellishments.
Here is a look at the Sewing Set stamps.  Look at all the stamps that you get on that 6"x7.5" set!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day and a blessed Easter weekend!

Scissors Tag Card

Good morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties with you today.  I am sharing a card that I created with the Sewing stamp set from Victorine Originals.  I have been a sewer since I was 5 years old, so this stamp set fit me to a "T"!
I used papers from DCWV's Heirloom stack and 6x6 Paper Lace stack.  Dies are GMD stitched rectangles and scalloped stitched rectangles.  I stamped on the tag using Versafine Black Onyx ink and hilighted areas on it with a white gel pen.  The tan layer of the tag was distressed with Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.
I used crinkled seam binding and a little bit of Trendy Twine along with wooden buttons and sewing charms.
For any of you who love sewing or vintage stamp sets, make sure to check out this Sewing set!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
