Chasse' Your Dreams

Hello, Jeanette here from the design team. I'm glad you've stopped by the blog today.

One of my favorite colors is pink so for today's card that's the main color - with a bit of black and white thrown in for contrast. I used the SumMore Fun On Pointe stamp set. It features three different ballerina images, a pair of ballet shoes and some great sentiments. There's so much to choose from that I had a difficult time deciding exactly which image/sentiment to use.

Elegance and Grace

Hello, Jeanette here from the design team. I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today. For today's card I am using the On Pointe stamp set. I've always thought ballerinas are so elegant in their fancy dresses and I'm mesmerized by the grace with which they move. This stamp set captures both of those ideas - elegant and grace.

Just look at her -

She's a true beauty!

And she's not the only ballerina in the set:

I wanted her to be the focal part of my card so I multi-matted her to make her stand out. I also stamped the pair of ballerina shoes in the bottom right corner. I liked the bold stripe for a bit of grounding, but I also altered one stripe of it by placing a piece of skinny Washi Tape on it - the white strip that has the hearts on it.

Tu Tu Amazing

Hello, Jeanette here with the design team with a card I've made using the On Pointe stamp set. It is a lovely set that has a variety of images and sentiments that blend together so well. 

This stamp set is tu tu amazing!

Just look at it. There are elegant ballerinas, awesome sentiments, and oh-so-many possibilities with this set!


I used one of the ballerina images and three of the sentiment stamps - yes 3. The sentiment on my card is actually 3 separate stamps in the set, but I lined them up on my stamping platform and was able to stamp them into three rows that go together pretty uniformly. It worked pretty well.

I wanted my ballerina to dazzle, so I colored it first with Copic markers; then I added highlights on her tu tu with an Amazapen Glitter Gel Pen. It doesn't show up very well in the picture, but it really is a nice touch.

My card is pretty simple, just some layers of designer paper (that I've matted with black card stock to give them a contrasting look). The image and sentiment were die-cut with circle dies. I added a bit of ribbon and an over-sized heart-shaped brad for embellishments.

You Are Amazing Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the SMF On Pointe stamp set.

I stamped the image and sentiment from the SMF On Pointe stamp set with brown ink because I wanted a softer image to blend with the whole shabby chic feel of the card.  I die cut around the image with a stitched oval die then accented the image with Pearl Pen in Glitter Pink and Pearl Pink.  The shine and glitter on her dress is so beautiful in real life!  I matted that with a kraft die cut oval and popped that up with foam tape on a die cut lace square.

I added the sentiment banner with foam tape and embellished it with a dot of Pearl Pink Pearl Pen on each end.  The only other embellishment I used was Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  The patterned papers are from The Paper Studio's Boho Vibes paper pad.
