Quick, Cute Tags!

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations

I thought I would share a couple of Cute Christmas Tags
I made using the Raisin Boat Stamp Set - Holiday Wishes

Aren't they just so FUN! I made them pretty quickly too -
I die cut the pieces out with extra Scraps in my Scrap bin

This first tag is (#237925) from the Silhouette Studio Store
It was supposed to have mittens, but I didn't cut them because
I had a Christmas tree I made a long time ago - it was in
my Stash bin as well - I know the embossing folder is called
Devine Swirls and I used my Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the
swirls and added some tiny clear adhesive gems -  I attached
it to the one side of the tag and added a glitter enamel star on top

Then I stamped my Sentiment in the white circle that was cut out
and attached it to the green scallop base - Placed it on the other side
of my tag and then added some crinkle ribbon & Trendy Twine
to Finish off this tag!

This tag is (#237937) from the Silhouette Studio Store -
I added some Gems to my snowflakes & used my
Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the snowflakes as well,  then attached
them to my tag - then stamped my sentiment and attached it
to its green frame then added dimensionals to the
back of it so it would pop up a little -
Added some Green Crinkled Ribbon and Trendy Twine
and it's all done!

Silver & Gold

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!!

I thought I would share a lovely Christmas card -

As most of you know... next to Fall, Christmas is my other FAVORITE
time of the year - I love how they both just flow into each other -
Makes me Very HAPPY!!! So today I thought I would try to
inspire you to get started making those holiday cards!

Look... mine are all done for this year - YES I'm a nut case...
BUT, when you think about ALL the other things you're trying to do
during the holidays, wouldn't it be nice to have your handmade
cards off that list? Early? even better! Just sayin' (Wink Wink)

This card was fairly easy to make - I started off with a
piece of White Cardstock (Neenah Solar White)
and I stamped my Ornament image front and center with
Brilliance Starlite Silver ink, then poured some
Ultra Fine Silver Embossing on top of it, then heat set it

I then took a pair of my Tim Holtz scissors and cut the center
out of my ornament - Since I had plans on turning this into
a shaker I wanted my sentiment on my card front
before I did anything else - So I did the same process
as the ornament - once that was done -
I grabbed a Wonky Stitch die and die cut my white
card front for that finished look -

Now I can complete my shaker - I found some pretty Christmas
paper in my stash that had silver & gold to it (Perfect)
and I grabbed a piece of Acetate and now I'm ready to
get the shaker part together - I adhered the acetate to the backside
of the white card front - then added Stampin' Up Dimensional
Stripes around the circle - Added an assortment of Silver
& Gold Sequins then added the Designer paper to seal it off

Flipped it over and started to shake, shake, shake! (Always so fun)

I then added some Fun Foam to the backside of my shaker
for an even look and dimension - Then I folded a White card base
in half (A2 Size) - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Top Folding
Then I found a lovely piece of foil silver on white designer Paper
and thought that would look nice behind my shaker
so I cut it down to fit the front of my White Card base
and attached it with some adhesive

Then I grabbed the shaker that was on the fun foam
and attached it to my silver/white card base

Of course, it needed some final touches, so I adhered
some of the silver & gold sequins to the front of my card
and then made a double bow using some
Silver & Gold Elastic Cording I had -

And now another Holiday card ready to go in the mail!!!

Let's get Flake-y

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday,

Today is my day to take over the SumMoreFun Designs Blog. As you can see I am still making Christmas Cards, hey no one ever said I was on the ball and getting things out on time.  Yes I am one of those Christmas Eve last minute shoppers you see pictured on the evening news. With that said here is my inspiration today for you using:
Let it Snow and Holiday Wishes

Non Blizzard

Blizzard Effect

Card Recipe:
I started off by using 3 colors of distress ink Dusty Concord, Blueprint Sketch, and Salty Ocean and doing some heavy blending I achieved the blend I was hoping for.  I then stamped the snowflakes with versamark and used white embossing powder and heat set the flakes. The sentiment was then stamped on vellum and white embossing powder used, the silver stars are from my stash (leftover from a previous project) and glued to the vellum layer. The velum was attached to the distressed and embossed layer by applying glue directly behind the stars.  This hides/keeps the glue from showing thru the velum.  The whole thing was attached to a piece of Neenah 110lb card stock cut to A2 size.

For the second card "BLIZZARD EFFECT" the recipe is the exact same except I wanted to achieve a look to the card as if it had been dusted with snow.  To achieve this look instead of using my embossing buddy before applying the versamark to the snowflakes, I took my fingertips and sort of grasped/smooshed them around the edges so that the oil from my fingers would grasp to the card and pick up embossing powder.

Thank you for visiting today and have a great day!

The Perfect Tree

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday

Today is my day to take over the SumMoreFun Designs Blog Here's my inspiration for you using: Holiday Wishes
Are you all ready for Christmas? I know I am not.  As you can see I am busily making Christmas cards to send out to family and friends.

Card Recipe:
Loosely watercolored a Tree on Canson watercolor paper using Gansai Tambi Watercolors. I stamped the image with versamark and used white embossing powder and heat set the image. The stars were then stamped using Distress Oxide in the color Faded Jeans.  Both the watercolor layer and the patterned paper were cut using a Stitched Rope Nested Rectangle die.  The whole thing was attached to a piece of Neenah 110lb card stock cut to A2 size.
