Witchy Halloween Night Card

Hello all! Beth from Beth's Beauties back with another Halloween card today.  I used a sentiment stamp from the Victorine Originals Halloween Kids stamp set, die cuts, and patterned paper to create it.
I found some lime green patterned paper that would create a fun scene for the Spellbinders witch and bat die cuts.  I die cut one layer of black cardstock and 2 layers of yellow craft foam and glued them together.  I like the yellow shadow effect that made, almost like the moonlight hilighting the witch and bats!  The lime panel was mounted onto a black die cut of a GMD Loopy Rectangle die.
For the sentiment stamp, I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with Zing! Black Glitter embossing powder.  It really gave the sentiment sparkle and shine!  Perfect for bringing attention to the sentiment.  The final touch was adding enamel dots in coordinating colors.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Mummy Halloween Card

Hello and welcome back to another Wednesday post!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and today I am sharing this cute Halloween card that features stamps from the Victorine Originals Halloween Kids stamp set and the Raisin Boat Strokes of Pride stamp set.
First I created the background on white cardstock with the brush stroke stamp from Strokes of Pride stamp set, stamp platform, and Distress Oxides.  The colors I used include Fossilized Amber, Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Lucky Clover, and Spiced Marmalade.  I then smooshed some watered down Black Soot over the whole background, then used a blending tool to distress the edges with Black Soot.
The sentiment from the Halloween Kids stamp set was also stamped onto the background with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  The Halloween Kids mummy was stamped onto a scrap piece of white paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and fussy cut with my Brother Scan N Cut.  The face was watercolored with Antique Linen Distress Oxide.  The black shadow layer was a 0.8" shadow of the mummy also cut with the Brother Scan N Cut.  I adhered the mummy to the background with foam tape.  The finishing touch was a trio of enamel dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Delightful Halloween Night

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today. It's September, which means fall is coming, for those of us in the northern hemisphere anyway. I love fall! The crisp temperatures. The fall decorations. Soup bubbling on the stove.

And of course there are also witches and ghosts and mummies, and more, like these...

Boo!

I used the adorable witch - she's too cute to be spooky - for today's card.

I used one of the stamps from the set on the inside of my card, too.

I hope you have SumMore Fun today!

I'm Just Here for the Candy

Hello... Jeanette here. Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Did you enjoy the new release fun here on the blog? I sure hope so! The design team had a great time with the Sneak Peeks and then the New Release Blog Hop.

I hope you shopped and shopped and shopped some more. After all, there were FOUR new fantastic sets!!!

For today's card though... I'm focusing on Halloween! It's almost here, after all.

This cute little witch and sentiment are part of the Halloween Kids stamp set. It is a GREAT set! And being one with a sweet tooth, I can honestly say I am always here just for the candy. ;)

My card really was quite easy to make. First I stamped the image/sentiment.

Then I chose some papers to use, so I'd be sure to color appropriately. (I usually choose papers before coloring.)

After that, I just played around with a design. I admire people who use sketches successfully, but for me it's more of a trial and error method until I find something that works. LOL!

Some adhesive. A few embellishments (candy brads). And it's finished. Easy peasy!

Now, can I please have some candy?!?!?!?

BOO!

Good Morning,

Today is my day to take over the Victorine Originals Blog. In keeping with the "HALLOWEEN" Theme/Mood Board I chose to use Halloween Kids for my inspiration today.

Card Recipe:
I started with a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of black 110pd cardstock and used a stencil and some grey chalk ink to create a nice spooky Halloween night background, I also used a scattered star stencil to apply some faint stars. Once I was happy I removed the stencil(s) and decided exactly where I wanted my Ghost and Pumpkin from the Halloween Kids set to be.  I used a stitched rectangle die from my stash to die cut the layer then I went about stamping the ghost with versamark and using black embossing powder heat set the image.  I cut a mask of the ghost and again using versamark stamped the pumpkin next to the ghost and using neon green embossing powder heat set this image.  For the sentiment I used the BOO! included in the set stamped in versamark and again used the neon green embossing powder. I then set about coloring in the pumpkin with prismacolor pencils in orange and black.  For the ghost I used my pencils in white, grey, nectar, blue and black. Lastly I had some bats that I had diecut in bulk from my stash that I popped up using seed beads and gave them a quick swipe with a spectrum noir sparkle brush pen. I cut a neon green sheet of cardstock to A2 size and glued it to the front of a side folding piece of Neenah 110pd cardstock, then glued my stenciled/stamped/embossed layer to the top.

~

Don't forget there is still time to enter your "HALLOWEEN" themed projects into our challenge...
Head on over to the Victorine Originals blog and check out their challenge post. You have a few days left to enter your project/s that follow this theme. They do not have to use Victorine Originals stamps on them. We can't wait to see what you create!
I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Thank you for visiting today and have a great day!

Mummy Halloween Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here and today I am back with another adorable Halloween card using Victorine OriginalsHalloween Kids stamp set.
I stamped that cute little mummy on newsprint paper with black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I die cut ovals to create a focal point for it.  They are popped up with foam tape.
In the bottom right corner I stamped a sentiment from the Halloween Kids set and embossed it with white embossing powder.  The last thing I added was enamel dots on the banner.
Here is a full look at that awesome Halloween Kids stamp set:

Boo! from me....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!

YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a FUN
Halloween Treat box I made for my son -

He's to old to go trick or treating (according to him)
so I thought I would surprise him with a treatbox
that he can enjoy without leaving the house! LOL

I thought the Vampire was perfect for my son!
I'm using the totally adorable Halloween Kids Stamp Set
there are (6) different images in this set and a couple
different sentiments as well -- they're all so cute! -

I started out with some Scrap Halloween Cardstock from DCWV
and a treat box die - The box was pretty simple to make
I needed to cut 2 halves out and adhere them together
to make the box - both sides have a little window so
I put 2 tiny pieces off acetate on the inside of my box
This way the candy won't fall out!

I colored my Vampire with my Zig real brush pens
on some watercolor paper then cut it out with my
Brother Scan N Cut machine - I attached the little
guy to the front of my box - Then took another
Scrap piece of paper and Stamped the sentiment
on it using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink -
then I found a stitched tag die that would fit
around my sentiment, die cut it out, made a small
hole at the top of it so I could put an orange eyelet thru -
Found some FUN Trendy Twine and put it through my
Tag and holes in the box and made a bow --

Now it's ready for some candy!!!
