Old Fox Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses SumMore Fun's Foxy Lady stamp set.
I stamped the fox image and sentiment from the Foxy Lady stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock, clear heat embossed them, and watercolored the image with Distress Oxide inks in Rusty Hinge and Black Soot.   While that was waiting to dry, I stamped a second fox image onto a post it note and die cut around it with my Brother Scan N Cut to make a mask for the image.  When dry, I masked the fox, then used a geometric stencil and new makeup brushes to add color to the background in Broken China and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides.  The makeup brushes worked like a charm!  I then die cut the panel with a wonky stitched rectangle die.  I embellished with Paradise and Mai Tai enamel dots and the card was complete!

Here is what the entire BRAND NEW Foxy Lady stamp set looks like!  Isn't it so cute?!
Also available with this new release are Foxy Lady stickersdigi papers6x6 papers and 12x12 papers!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Foxy Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses SumMore Fun's Foxy Lady stamp set.
I stamped the fox image from Foxy Lady stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock and watercolored it with Distress Oxide inks in Rusty Hinge and Black Soot.  Once it was dry, I die cut it with a stitched circle die and matted it with another circle die cut.  The patterned papers are from DCWV's Natural stack.  I added some Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine to the banner and added GMD Sophisticated Enamel Dots as accents.
For the sentiment, I wasn't sure how well it would stamp on the metallic circles of the patterned paper, but it turned out great!  I used the embossing buddy on the paper, then stamped the sentiment from the Foxy Lady stamp set with VersaMark using my stamp platform.  When embossing, I like to re-stamp 2 or 3 times to make sure I have total coverage!  I then heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Here is what the entire BRAND NEW Foxy Lady stamp set looks like!  Isn't it so cute?!

Congrats on Your New Kit!

Hello, Jeanette here from the Design Team (and the Cre8tive Play blog). I'm glad you've stopped by.

Foxy Lady is now available for purchase! The design team has shared lots of sneak peeks and now we're doing the real deal. I hope you've enjoyed seeing so many Foxy cards!

I cut the kit (baby fox) out with my Scan 'N Cut and popped it up a bit overlapping the Fox image. You could easily stamp them together using a masking technique or could even fussy cut the kit image if you don't own a Scan 'N Cut.

Be sure to head to the SumMore Fun store to purchase you Foxy Lady stamp set. You'll be glad to add it to your collection because it is such a versatile and fun set.

Have a great day and be sure to make time to get inky!

Feeling Foxy

Hello, Jeanette here from cre8tiveplay and the SumMore Fun design team. Have you been enjoying the Foxy Lady sneak peeks this week? I'm guessing you're getting pretty excited - and I have good news! You'll find this adorable stamp set in the SumMore Fun store tomorrow! Only one more sleep to go.

Isn't she the sweetest fox ever?

Feeling Foxy is just one of the sentiments in the set:

Sabrina (the owner of SumMore Fun) posted here on the blog on Tuesday that six sheets of the 6 x6" matching cardstock will be included with every order of the Foxy Lady stamp set from April 12-19. That certainly is good news!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

New Baby Fox Card **Sneak Peek**

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses brand new, never seen before digi papers and stamp set called Foxy Lady.  This card is made entirely with the digi papers except for the sentiment, which I used the physical stamp set to add.  They will both be available this Friday at SumMore Fun.
I am not normally a digi person.  I have such a hard time figuring out how to use them without wasting a bunch of paper and ink!  My crafty friend, Theresa, had a quick tutorial on her blog so I used that and good old Google to find out how to utilize the beautiful Foxy Lady digi papers for my card.  After all, I wanted to use that darling mother and baby fox as my focal point!  Here is what it looked like in my SCAL4 software.  The card cutting file that I created can be seen on the right and what was actually printed/cut is on the left.
Here is a close up of that sweet image.  The best part about the digi papers is that they were a perfect match!  No trying to find patterned papers that didn't have the same scheme as the image.  I used brown ink around all of the cuts to add definition and a bit of distressing.  The oval is popped up with foam tape.
Here you can see The sentiment that I stamped in black ink.  I just love that font AND the sweet saying!  I embellished with Black and Ice White Pearl Pen dots and it was complete!  Make sure to stop by SumMore Fun this Friday to purchase the Foxy Lady stamp set and/or digi papers!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
