Embossed Birthday Greetings

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today.

I'm using the Floral and Sayings stamp set again this week, but I've tried something different with it. The touch turned out really subtle, but hopefully it shows up enough in the pictures for you to see it.

I used the WOW! Pop Embossing Powder to create the flowers element on the card. This embossing powder has both orange and pops of gray and white in it. It really is luscious!

I also used some glittery decorative tape on the card for a bit of glitz.

The Happy Birthday is not heat embossed to give it a different texture.

I hope you have SumMore Fun today:

Easter Greetings....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!! YAY for me... 🙌

Today I thought I would share an Easter Greeting with you-

This was so Fun and Easy to make --

I started out with a piece of 110lb White Cardstock
and some Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry,
Squeezed Lemonade, Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon,
& Lucky Clover
I stamped my bunny in each color going straight
down the line to get the look I wanted
Then I pulled out a Stitched Rectangle die
and cut my panel out

While that panel sat off to the side
I took another piece of white cardstock
and blended Spiced Marmalade & Carved Pumpkin together
I pulled out an Easter Word Die and die cut
it out in the blended colors 4x's (for Dimension)
Layering each Easter word right on top of the next

Once that was complete, I added the
"Greetings" sentiment under the Easter die cut
in some black ink, then I adhered some Fun Foam
to the back of that --

Now my front panel was ready to be placed
on my Doodlebug dotted paper -
Then I adhered that to a Salmon Colored Cardbase

I added a couple of Jewels for a little Sparkle
and now it's ready to be mailed off!

Floral Elegant Birthday...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!
YAY for me... 🙌

Today I thought I would share a Lovely Birthday Card -

I took a piece of Koh-I-Noor White Bristol Smooth Watercolor
paper and blocked off a border around my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of
Cardstock -- Then I pulled out some of my
Distress Oxides in - Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio,
Broken China, Wilted Violet, & Worn Lipstick
Once I got all the colors blended, I dropped some
water droplets onto my blended background, then put a paper
towel over it, to pick up those drops...
Then I took my Heating tool and heat set the background
completely before I pulled off my Border
which gave it a nice clean white line all the way around

Then I took a Stitched Rectangle die to trim my
image to the size I wanted - 3 3/4 x 5
Then I place my background in my Misti and
used my Static Powder tool all over it -

I stamped my Floral design with some
Versafine Onyx black ink and then poured
some Ultra Fine Black Embossing powder
all over my image - tapping off any access
then heat set my image -

I did the same steps for the Sentiment as well
After it was all set up, I took my Sheer Shimmer
Sparkle Spritz spray and sprayed the front of my
design - Then heat set that for a few seconds
to make sure it was completely dry before flipping it
over and adding some Fun Foam as my dimension --

I attached my design to my Mambo Pink
Card Base and added a few Clear Jewels

And that's about it! I love the look of this card
and it's gonna be perfect to send to a friend!

I'm using the Floral Sayings (10549-X) Stamp Set

This set is Perfect for so many
occasions -- It really is an Elegant Set!!

I'm also using the Elegant Sayings (10517-X) Stamp Set

I thought the sentiments would fit perfectly with
the Floral Set --

Birthday Tag w/Distress Oxides

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!
YAY for me... 🙌

Today I thought I would share a Birthday
Tag that I made with some Distress Oxide Inks --

I thought I would try something different to me anyway --

I inked up a piece of Koh-I-noor watercolor paper with some
Distress Oxides in - Wilted Violet, Broken China, Cracked
Pistachio, & Antique Linen

Then I took the Music Background Stamp
and sprayed it with some water --
I then turned my stamp over and placed it on top of
my watercolor paper with the distress oxide already on it

And it gave it a really cool white watercolor image --
It's Subtle enough on my tag, that you can still see it --

I heat set my cardstock so I could use a Tag die & put it
through my Big Shot -- If your cardstock is still wet
it will ruin the cardstock & image (just an FYI)

I had extra balloon die pieces left over from this
Birthday Card I made last week, so I added them
to my tag --

Then I took another piece of black cardstock
and using my embossing buddy & versamark ink
Stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the
I heat embossed it with some fine white embossing powder
and die cut it out with a Stitched Banner Die

I popped it up with Dimensionals
Then added some Ice Cube Jewels, Ribbon & Twine
to finish my Tag off --

Here's a close up of my tag so you can see the
Music background - It's so NEAT!!
