Here is what I created to share today:
This card uses the following items from the Holiday Glow PackBelieve in Christmas stamp set, and patterned cardstock.  I made the asymmetrical design with the cardstock and wrapped Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine around it before adhering it to the card base.  I stamped the sentiment and sled with black ink.  I colored the sled with an Artify Marker and die cut around it with a GMD stitched rectangle die and added a pull rope to the sled with more Trendy Twine.  I embellished with Sky Glitter Pearl Pen in the center of the snowflakes and blue enamel dots.
Guess what?  I attached the sled panel to the card with an Action Wobble so it can move back and forth.  I love interactive cards!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Elegant Wreath Card + Sneak Peek!

Hello all and happy Thanksgiving Eve!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  As crafters, we are always thinking ahead to the next holiday to craft for.  Today I am sharing a Christmas card that uses the SumMore Fun Tangled Tinsel stamp set.  That set is also available in a mini pack which includes the Tangled Tinsel stamp set, 6 metallic silver envelopes, 3 metallic silver card bases and 3 white card bases. The mini pack is only $13.99!
For my card, I used Tangled Tinsel stamp set with a wreath builder template and my stamp platform.  I started with a 4" white cardstock square and used elements from the stamp set and inks in the following Scrapbook.com colors: Pine, Olive, and Cardinal Red to create a wreath.  I cut the wreath panel in half and adhered it to the red and green base papers with a gap between the two wreath strips.  I added a green paper strip and gold ribbon to the center.  The sentiment in the center is also from the Tangled Tinsel stamp set and was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with WOW! metallic gold powder.  I used a sponge dauber to add a little red ink around the circle die cut and popped the circle up with foam tape.  To finish off the card, I added gold enamel dots in the four corners of the white cardstock and dots of red Pearl Pen to all the stamped berries.  I really love how elegant this card turned out!!
That's not all I have to share with you today!  On Friday (only two sleeps away!)  SumMore Fun will be releasing a new full sized pack of Christmas stamp sets...it is absolutely MAGICAL!  Here is a sneak peek of what I will be sharing with that pack.
Mark your calendars!  You won't want to miss it this new pack!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Colorful Horse

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Exciting things are coming - and I wish I had a sneak peek for you, but sadly I do not... so you're just going to have to wait a few more days to see what's coming.

I do have a super simple card to share with you though, and it features one of my favorite stamp sets in the SumMore Fun Store.

I wasn't sure how the horse would look stamped on this colored designer paper, but I kind of like how it turned out.

Thanks again for stopping by the blog.

Indian Corn Card

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this Thanksgiving card.  Did you know that SumMore Fun has digital stamps?  They do!  That is what I used for this card, a digital set called Fall is Calling.
I started by printing the stamps off and colored the Indian corn with Artify alcohol markers and fussy cut around it.  The sentiment was printed as well.  I noticed the typo in it after taking pictures, but the digital file has been corrected, so future downloads will have the correct spelling!  I added watercoloring behind the corn, being careful to not get water on the sentiment because the inkjet printing would run otherwise.  Once that was dry, I added a kraft die GMD slash stitched oval cut, the corn popped up with foam tape, and a bow of Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  I matted the white layer with an orange GMD Eyelet Elegance Rectangle die cut, adding white Nuvo Drops in each of the large holes of the die cut.  The finishing touch was a trio of GMD Mai Tai matte enamel dots in the corner.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Merry Christmas

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I know it's not yet Thanksgiving, but at our house we've already begun the process of transforming our home into a Christmas delight. We put up many trees and other decorations, so it takes quite a while to get it all in place; therefore I start early. I listen to Christmas music while I decorate, too. I love Christmas! Of course I also had to make a Christmas card for this week's post.

These poinsettias would be gorgeous colored - image them in red or even pink - but I also think they look amazing uncolored. There is only one poinsettia in the stamp set. I used it again and again (with a stamping platform that is so easy to do) and made the border.

The sentiment is also from the Dear Santa stamp set.

Vintage Floral Card

Hello all, and happy Wednesday!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this vintage floral card.  The two stamp sets I used on it are RB Growing Love and RB No Loss For Words.

I started with patterned paper from DCWV's Farmstead Harvest stack, die cutting a dark layer with a scalloped rectangle die and stamping on the lighter patterned paper.  Do you stamp on patterned paper?  For this one, I used stamps from RB Growing Love in ink colors that complimented the dark paper.  I used the following colors of Scrapbook.com ink: Charcoal, Pink Lemonade, Rubber Ducky, and Succulent.  I then stamped the large flower from RB Growing Love on white paper and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut and popped it up with foam tape.  The sentiment was from the RB No Loss For Words set and was once again stamped on patterned paper with Charcoal ink.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

The Leaves Are Changing - A Sure Sign of Autumn

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

I am in awe of the beauty outside my window these days. The leaves are so colorful. Seriously! In fact, one of the bushes in our yard is a bright red. Gorgeous!

To celebrate the season - a month of thanksgiving and the beauty of fall - I pulled out two Raisin Boat stamp sets and used them on today's card.

Arboretum Leaves

No Loss for Words

I used a variety of ink colors on the leaf to give it a changing color feel.

Purple Blended Card

Hello and happy Wednesday! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this purple card.  It uses the Raisin Boat Growing Love and No Loss For Words stamp sets.

First of all, I used Scrapbook.com Violet Group inks (Mardi Gras, Parisian Purple, and Soft Lavender) with a blending brush to create the blended ombre background.  I then used a triburst stencil with Mardi Gras ink to add the pattern to the background.  I stamped the dandelion and dots from the Growing Love stamp set with white pigment ink and heat embossed with white powder.

The sentiment was from the No Loss For Words and was also stamped with Mardi Gras ink.  I added a black mat die cut from a GMD loopy rectangle die and embellished with GMD Iris sparkle glitter dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
