Testing out some new products

I am so excited to be here with you today! Not only do I get to play with the amazing Victorine Originals and Raisin Boat stamp sets, but today I'm also going to show you some of the awesome other products that have now been added to the online store! As soon as you're done reading this post, head over there and get some - you won't be disappointed!

I had a page kit that I needed to put together, and I knew that these new products were the perfect match.

The first product I used was the Memento Dew Drop 4-pack of Inks. The dew drop shape is so handy for inking all the edges of whatever shape I had. It made quick work of my duck, rain drop and water splatters. I used colors from multiple sets as I like the ink to coordinate with the paper.

When I make a page kit, the layout just looks so much better when I doodle or outline the elements and the pictures.

I think this layout is even one step better because I outlined with the super cool Kirarina Wink Glitter Markers. I think I must have all the colors now!

I went around the edge of the duck, but then I added some squiggles (technical term there) to certain parts to give the duck more life. With the rain drops and splatters, I used multiple colors to make the water "reflect" the duck. I also outlined all the letters in the title and around the pictures.

Can you see (believe) how well these glitter pens do on EVERY color of cardstock and patterned paper I tried? It was amazing! I am totally hooked. Go visit my Halloween Mood Board creation to see how they pop off the page when used on black cardstock - it's amazing! (Link is below)

After assembling my layout, I added one extra perfect product for this layout! To make the water seem more realistic, I used the blue Pearl Pen to put water droplets all over my page! Look closely and you can see some on the water splatters and the duck.
