So I thought I would show you this
SPOOKY Halloween card I made to send
to a crafty friend -

Isn't it SPOOOOKY??? LOL Okay it's not scary but I thought
it was kind of cool looking - 😉

I LOVE the neat Boarded Window Stamp (3049-K) from VO -
I can see so many fun Halloween projects with it -

I also pulled out the adorable Halloween Kids Set for the fun
Sentiment on my card!

I used Distress Oxides & Distress Sprays to create
my background along with a little
White Acrylic Paint -

My Image was colored with some Zig Real
Water color brush pens and I heat
embossed the sentiment & Image in WOW! Primary Ebony
Embossing powder

I added some Shimmer Sparkle spray & some
Crystal Nuvo Drops to finish it off --

I popped my card front up on a piece of Fun Foam
and added some glossy accents to the eyes

Whisper "I Love You"

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday,

Today is my day to post on the Victorine Originals Blog. In keeping with the Wings theme I chose to use Wings Set 10580-X for my inspiration today.

Card Recipe:
I used an acrylic block with the 2 wings set very close together and stamped them in a random pattern on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 120lb card stock  using Distress Oxide in Broken China, the little butterfly body is from my stash stamped with Hero Arts Soft Granite. For the top layer with the sentiment I found a quote online that I have really loved for many years and I used my Serif Craft Artist 2 program to type the text and get it just the way I wanted, once I was satisfied I printed it off then die cut the layer as shown in the finished project. Both the sentiment layer and the butterfly layer are matted on a dark grey layer. Lastly I attached all layers as shown to a side folding A2 sized piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 120lb card stock

Don't forget there is still time to enter your "WINGS" themed projects into our challenge...
Head on over to the Victorine Originals blog and check out their challenge post. They do not have to use Victorine Originals stamps on them. I can't wait to see what you create!
I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Thank you for visiting today and have a great day!

Inspire Those Around You

Inspire those around you!!

Good morning VO friends
Im here today to share another inspiration project using the wings stamps from the wings set by our very own Victorine Originals

Here is my canvas

I started out by using black gesso on my canvas.  I then went over it using Decoart crackle paint.
After letting it dry for a bit I highlighted it in a few spots with
A sparkling powder from my stash.
I mean i dont even know where I got this stuff but I love it.

I stamped my wings on card stock and heat embossed them.

I then touched up the sides and splattered a little on the peice with black paint.
I added some gauze, yes gauze.. Its unbelievable where we find some stuff. Hehe. I then attatched my wings.  I also added a sweet saying.
Inspire thise around you!!
Something we should do.

I hope you enjoyed my canvas today.

Herd You Had A Birthday

Hello everyone,
Heather here and today I am sharing this fun card I made using the Cow Background Stamp and the Cow (74374-C) Stamp.

I am in love with this little image and think she is fabulous and needed a card dedicated to her. Plus I just love cows and cannot get enough of them, especially when they are this cute!

I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock that I die cut with a stitched rectangle die from my craft room stash.  I then took the Victorine Originals Cow Background and stamped in clear versa mark ink, going from top left down to the bottom right corner and then sprinkled with black embossing powder and heat set.  I then cut out a circle with a circle window die I had on my desk for another project, it just happened to work perfectly for this card. I popped up the top piece of my card with fun foam along the backside and then stamped my cow on a piece of white Neenah Solar White card stock. I used black versa fine ink and heat set with clear embossing powder to match the shininess of the cow spots on the front, then I took a light grey Zig Clean Real Brush marker and lightly colored the cow, I then used my Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush pen in Clear and coated the cow, because everything is better with glitter.  I attached the top cow background piece to a piece of black card stock that was 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and attached that to a side folding A2 white card base.  The sentiment is one I thought would go well with this card and I think it turned out perfect. I added some clear confetti sequins and that finished up the card.
Hope you find this little cow as cute as I do.

Please check out the Victorine Originals social media links listed below and join us for the challenge going on right now, here is the current inspiration board, WINGS:

You can play in any of these ways:

Boo From Me To You

Hi and welcome everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a Not So Scary Halloween card with you today. I know not everyone is happy that Autumn is upon us but this girl is overjoyed by it.
It's my favorite time of the year and I love crafting for this time of year.

Using the Halloween Kids Set I stamped this adorable ghost using Memento Ink and colored with W1, W3 for a little shading, E00 and E11 for the face, nothing fancy. I fussy cut the image and layered onto the background. To create the background I used Distress Oxides in Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet, Broken China on Bristol paper masking the moon with a die-cut piece of post it note. I added Fossilized Amber to the moon and around it using a very light hand with it. Using a Heidi Swapp Confetti Stencil and Hero Arts Ink - Unicorn I added a few stars. I die-cut grass and the hill landscape using dies from my stash adding Distress Oxides in Frayed Burlap to the hill and Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron to the grass. Using 3D mounting foam I adhered the sentiment and grass, fun foam on the back of the die-cut panel to adhere it to a card base that is black #110 4.25" x 5.5".

Have you linked up your project for the current challenge?
As always thanks for stopping by!

Remember Me Card

Hello all!  Happy Wednesday.  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today!
I created this card using the angel wings stamp from the VO Wings set.  I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then die cut a circle out of the center using a GMD double stitched in & out circle die.  I took the inside circle and shaded the feathers using Spun Sugar Distress Ink as a watercolor.  Once that dried, I splattered the circle with Black Soot and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks.  Out of that inner circle, I also die cut a heart from the center using a GMD heart die.  I adhered the circle back to the center of the card with ATG, but popped the heart up with foam tape for more dimension.
A bow of Totally Pink Trendy Twine was at the base of the heart die cut.  I stamped the sentiment which can also be found in the VO Wings set and added three enamel dots from the GMD Sophisticated collection.
Here is a close up look at the VO Wings set.

Remember, we have our Wings challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

A good day to have a GREAT day!

Great day to you today! :) Thank you for joining me, Jamie, on the Victorine Originals blog.

I am getting ready for a garage sale (or I guess you would say avoiding that task) as I'm typing this post; and, thankfully, it will be over and finished by the time this shows up. BUT, it has inspired (and exhausted) me.

As I dug through all the stuff that my family has acquired, it inspired me to use different items and techniques for this card; it inspired me to pick up something I found at a local thrift store and use it differently; it inspired me to craft outside of my box.

I LOVE our local thrift shop. I go there frequently when I'm trying to plan a Pinterest Party for my work. While I was there the last time, looking for Christmas ornaments, I found this shiny purple ribbon. It's not really ribbon, it's more plastic, but it's purple, and that's what I love and what's important - and it was under $1, so home with me it came.

I bought some plastic a few weeks ago, to make my own stencils, after I saw my fellow amazing design team members using that technique. I believe that plastic is still in its package - somewhere. But, when I saw this ribbon, I thought I could use it as a stencil and save myself a step.

I started by sponging ink onto a white card base through the ribbon stencil; then, I repeated in different places on the card with three coordinating colors. I liked it, but thought it needed something else. So, I went into my stash of papers and found this paper-like sheet. It's clear with silver metallic stripes; it's a hard plastic. It covered up some of the background, but then highlighted other parts - it was perfect!

But, I loved this purple ribbon so much, that I needed to add it to the card, too. From there, I just kept raiding my stash. I added a coordinating crocheted flower and some clear buttons.

Then I found the sentiment from this awesome Victorine Originals stamp set! I love being able to use clear stamps to get just the look I'm going for! It's a perfect set for card makers!

I wanted my stamped image to have the same type of look as the background of my card, so I played around with it until I got an image that wasn't completely clear. I ended up sponging ink onto my stamp, and then stamping the image. By using my stamp positioning tool, I was able to repeat that step twice more to get the color I wanted. I inked the edge of my sentiment, popped it off the card and I was good to go!

Thanks for taking a look at my most-recent creation! See more of my projects on my Facebook page!

Happy Birthday to You!!!

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
It's DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog--
YAY for me... 🙌

I'm so excited to share this Sweet colorful
Birthday card I made!

I really like the Birthday Word Print Stamp -
It's not a full background stamp - it's about 3 3/4 x 4 3/4
I pulled out a piece of water color paper & Heat embossed
the stamp with some White Embossing powder then
I pulled out some Distress Oxide inks in
Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, & Fossilized Amber
to color over my embossing - It totally makes the words POP!
I added some of my Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spray and
dabbed it with a cloth -  I let it dry then used a Stitched
Rectangle die to cut it out -

Then, I wanted to add that ADORABLE
Wonky Four Layer Cake Stamp! I embossed it as well -
Using some Purple, Pink, & yellow embossing powder I
had in my stash - I don't own a ton of embossing powders
especially in colors, so I'm a little disappointed that I didn't
have a bright purple or pink... I think it would have stood out a
bit more if I had... None the less - I used what I got! 😊
After it was embossed, I cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut

I used some Bright dotted paper from Doodlebug Designs and
cut it out with a Scalloped Stitched Die from Gina Marie Designs
I think it looks wonderful on that White Cardstock - I also
used some Fun Foam to pop up the Scallop frame & added some
Dimensionals to the cake -

I'll be giving this card to one of the Teachers at School --
Everyone is happy to be back at work and back on a
schedule! :)

From the Garden

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday,

Today is my day to post on the Victorine Originals Blog.  I chose to use
Pea Pods for my inspiration today.  This is my second project this month using this delish stamp. I recently tried to buy a stamp from a different manufacturer that is nearly identical to this one and it was sold out.  Silly me I only had to look at Victorine Originals and it was right there!!

Tag Recipe:
Pea Pod stamped on Craft cardstock using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, I colored in the image using Prismacolor Premier pencils and then used Gansai Tambi Starry watercolors in gold to add the highlights to the vines, leaves and to flick lil dots of gold across the whole front of image to add a bit of shimmer. I then used a long strip of washi tape from my stash folded in half and added to the layer as pictured. Lastly I die cut the layer using KatScrappiness Stitched Rectangle dies and adhered the layer to the front of a craft colored tag base. I did this so the tag would have weight and be thicker. I used a scrap piece of brown ribbon for my picture, but you could use anything you wish to attach to your project.

Don't forget there is still time to enter your "PURPLE" themed projects into our challenge, we now have 3 ways to play along. Check out this lovely inspiration board for the current challenge.

Head on over to the Victorine Originals blog and check out their challenge post. They do not have to use Victorine Originals stamps on them. We can't wait to see what you create!
I look forward to visiting your blogs.
Thank you for visiting today and have a great day!
