You're Out Of This World!

Hi, everyone and welcome. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper and it's my day to showcase a few Victorine Originals Stamps. I have to tell y'all I'm in love with the Saturn and Aliens In Spaceship stamps. I love the very whimsical feel and they're not too big making them a perfect pair along with the sentiment, You're Out Of This World

Next time I'll add a little color to the images but for now, I wanted them as is.

Moose Birthday Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this moose birthday card.
I started with some cream cardstock and stamped the Moose stamp from Victorine Originals using Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  I then lightly shaded it with Prisamcolor colored pencils.  I created a mask for the moose by stamping it on a post-it note and then fussy cutting around it.  I then stamped the VO Grove of Trees stamp with Vivid! Green ink.  I stamped it again in a different spot without re-inking to get the faded trees in the background.
Once I had the scene the way I liked it, I used a GMD Square Die to cut around the moose and a GMD stitched rectangle die around the whole stamped area.  I layered both die cut panels with a dark brown cardstock and popped up the moose panel with foam tape.  The sentiment is from the VO Elegant Sayings stamp set.

Thank You From My Little Girl

Hello all from me, Jamie. :) Thanks for joining me on the blog today!

My five-year-old daughter broke both bones in her arm six weeks ago. I can't believe it's already been six weeks; it's been a crazy summer at our house! As soon as they found out, many wonderful friends and family members brought her a gift to help her feel better. We wanted to make thank you cards, and she loves to craft with me, but since it was her dominant arm, we were limited. We decided it would work well for her to paint a watercolor picture that we could use for the background of her cards.

I cut up her painting and matted it on 4.25"x5.5" colored cardstock (folded in half) for the card bases. Then I added the embellishments and the awesome Victorine Originals Stamps to make thank you cards for my daughter to send out.

For this first card, I used the Hugs And Kisses stamp. Even though it's not a traditional thank you sentiment, I figured it would be perfect for one of her aunts or her grandma. Then, I added some glittery pink washy tape with white shimmer trim over the top. I finished it off with some adhesive sparkles in shades of purple and pink.

For this card, I wanted to use the awesome Floral and Sayings stamp set. I had to play around with it to figure out the correct size of the flower to use, but then I added the Thank You sentiment from the same stamp set in the center. I used a couple of different colors of ink, layering them with my stamp positioning tool, to make it really pop off the card. I finished this card off with some coordinating brads and ricrac ribbon.

I absolutely love the how the colors ended up on this card background! I thought it looked like a perfect background, almost like a stained-glass window, for this beautiful flower stamp! I then added the Count Your Blessings stamp for the sentiment.

The lime green card base played well with the colors on the watercolor painting on this card. I simply took the thank you sentiment from the Floral and Sayings set and double matted it on white and aqua papers, then used the lime green background color to make a strip of color. Adding the sparkles off the corner of the sentiment gave it the extra flair it was missing.

I hated to cover up the flower my daughter painted for this card, so I just used the thank you sentiment from the floral and saying stamp set to run across the top of this card.

Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today!

Thank You For Everything....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
And it's my day to take over the blog!!! YAY for me... 🙌

I'm so excited to share a Lovely Thank you card.

I was really drawn to the Flower pot frame stamp... I think it's
because you can color it, along with add anything to the center.
I wanted a sentiment in the center of mine... So I went
with a couple of different stamps - I'm using the small "Thank You" Stamp
along with the "Happy Everything" Stamp -- What I did was cut my
Happy Everything Stamp in half.. so I could just use the "Everything" Word.
I love that most about any stamp.... You can cut them and use them
where you need them on a project! My Card design is Mojo Monday Sketch #479.

Dance In The Rain Card

Hello all!  Happy Wednesday.  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today!  I created a card that is a little different from what I usually make to share with you.  This one has a lot of watercoloring on it.
I started out by stamping the Victorine Originals Dance in the Rain stamp with Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto Canson XL Watercolor paper and then heat embossing it with WOW Clear embossing Powder.  I added the green grass and the rainy gray background with watercolors.  I then used Stampabilities Slate Gray ink and the Victorine Originals Backgrounds set to add little flecks on the background paper.  I added a pair of die cut rain boots by the sentiment.
For the top of the card, I cut three clouds using GMD stitched cloud border dies and papers from the DCWV Silver Leaf stack.  I wrapped Bumblebee Trendy Twine around them for a little pop of color and then adhered them to the background that I had created.

Remember, we have our Ahoy Landlubbers challenge going on right now!  Here is the inspiration photo for it.  You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

I'm Late, I'm Late for a very important date!!!

I'm Late, I'm Late
For a very important date!!!

Hi everyone.  Its Amy here today to share my card using the White rabbit and the I'm Late sentiment.

These Amazing stamps sure take me back to my childhood.

I had the perfect paper to use, it being somewhat like the crazy Alice and wonderland world we remember.
After choosing my papers I began stamping away trying to find the right color ink to use and wether to emboss or not.
I stamped this rabbit image probably 10 times.
I settled with the black ink and to heat emboss. I think it brought out the image wonderfully.

I decided to add a little white between the dark colors to make it pop.
And after placing my sentiment for a while in different spots. I thought it looked better inside the card.

I added a clock brad which I cut off the metal brad part in the back and added 3D dots to make it pop up a little on the card.

I hope you enjoyed my post today.

You're So Cool!

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper here with you today and I'm sharing a bright, summery card featuring the Double Take Ice Cream Stamps. I love the sketchy feel of this stamp and how you can use them separately or together.

You can stack the ice creams on top of each other, too. Super cute. For this card, I first stamped the ice cream on scrap paper and cut out for masking. I randomly stamped the ice creams in pink, orange, green, and yellow masking them and then stamping the cone. To fill in some of the white space I randomly stamped the ice creams and then used a dot from the Dots Set to add a few dots. Die-cut and adhere to a patterned paper, I'm using my Perfectly Plaid paper here. Finish off with sentiment and a few enamel dots.

As always, thanks for joining me.

Feature Friday with Lisa

Hi, everyone and welcome. Today I'm featuring the Victorine Originals Dots Stamp Set and sharing all the cards I've created with it, so far. I love this set because the possibilities are endless. As you will see, it's perfect for creating backgrounds, use it as the focal point of your card, it offers two great sentiments, and three of the dots have the words Happy, Joy, Love. You cannot go wrong with this set.
Dots Set (Unmounted Only) (10599-X)
Here I used the dots to create a fun background.
Here I used the dots and Happy Birthday sentiment as the focal point of my card.
Tip: Don't be scared to cut your stamps. The birthday sentiment comes like you see it above with one stripe on both sides. I carefully cut the stripes off and then split the sentiment giving me more options. Keep the stripes to create plaid backgrounds by pairing it with the bigger stripe.
Adding Red and Blue dots to the tags gave them a fun festive feel for my 4th of July goodies.

Using the sentiment as my focal point and stamping the dots with VersaMark ink for a tone on tone background.

I created a fun background for my nautical themed card just by using the large stripe and changing ink colors.

This next card is my absolute favorite. I love this technique of adding ink to the stamps in a swiping motion, it really changes things. I have a video tutorial on my blog, The Relativity of Paper.

As you can see the possibilities truly are endless with this amazing stamp set making this a must have in my book. Already have this stamp set? Please be sure to share your projects with us on our Facebook Page or by using @victorineoriginals on Instagram.

Fireworks, Family & Fun

Hello all, Design Team member Jamie here! I can't believe we're already past the 4th of July. Where is the summer going?

This scrapbook layout is of pictures from this same time three years ago. My oldest was just a little one then, but she loved having fun with fireworks - granted, her love was pretty much limited to the smoke bombs, the poppers that shoot confetti and the snaps. But she was the only little one, so we catered to what she liked, and enjoyed the outdoors as much as we could with our family.

I love when I'm able to add a fun background to a layout that really makes the page pop! It looks like it takes a lot of effort, but it's so easy! I used my Pazzles to cut out the backgrounds in red for both pages. I adhered them to white paper, then added the extra little stars in multiple places. Matting the photos in a blue that matched the colors from the photos and some white really helped them to stand out from the background!

I love the simplicity of this layout; but I also love that it really showcases what the pictures are all about: celebrating the holiday for this wonderful country where my family and I are lucky enough to reside!

I finished my layout off with a couple more stars and some wonderful stamps from Victorine Originals

God Bless America made the perfect title for this layout! (Am I the only one who breaks into song every time I read those words?)

For the other page, I wanted to use a sentiment of another nature. This is another layout of the time spent during my mother-in-law's last days. She was one of a kind! I want my children to know that when they see these layouts, and I believe the right sentiment can convey that message. Count Your Blessings was the perfect choice for this layout.

Thank you for checking out my layout!

Summer is in full swing, and so is our latest challenge here at Victorine Originals! See all the details for our Summer Vacation Challenge (just click on those words), and then use these images to be inspired!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!
