Good Clean Fun

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

Oh my goodness... the Ghost Pack that Beth and I have been telling you about has sure been popular. I hope you were able to get one! It really is a great bundle.

Today I have another card I made from the Ghost Pack - this one features the Sheet Happens stamp set and one of the designer papers from the pack, too.

I love the ghost in the washing machine! He sure looks dizzy - I guess going through a spin cycle will do that to you, though.

Halloween should be good clean fun, for sure!

Contents of the Ghost Pack:

1 -Boo Hoo photopolymer stamp set
1 -Sheet Happens photopolymer stamp set
3 -orange card bases
3 -white card bases
6 -orange envelopes
6 -6” x 6” 100 lb designer card stock*
6 -3.5” x 8.5” 100 lb designer card stock*

Regular Retail Price Separately: $39.99
Pack Price: $27.99

*The black and white designs are printed on a laser so they can be foiled.

So what do I have for you today?? A slimline shaker card!  I had a lot of fun creating it!  Items I used from the Ghost Pack include the striped cardstock and Raisin Boat Boo Hoo stamp set.
The image and sentiment were stamped with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink.  I colored the image with Artify alcohol markers.  I prepared the striped cardstock by distressing it with Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Faded Jeans, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber.  I just laid the ink on my glass mat, spritzed it with water then saturated a paint brush with it and splattered away!
After that was dry, I cut a hole in the center to frame the stamped image.  I adhered acetate and foam tape around the rectangle then added polymer clay slices, sequins, and candy pieces that were stamped from the Boo Hoo stamp set, colored, and cut with my Brother Scan N Cut.  Once the shaker was assembled, I embellished the front with Gray Licorice Trendy Twine, the sentiment. and more stamped candies!

Keep in mind that quantities are limited for the Ghost Pack!  Once they are gone, you will not be able to get any of the cute extras included with the stamp sets.  Remember the Chicken Pack that we released in July?  That sold out over one weekend, so don't wait to grab this set!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Football Birthday Card + Sneak Peek!

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this football birthday card for a nephew who is a Vikings fan.  It features two Raisin Boat stamp sets called First Down and No Loss For Words.

I started by stamping the four images from First Down onto white cardstock in black ink, then coloring them with Artify alcohol markers.  I then die cut around them with GMD square dies and matted those with black cardstock.  The background of the card is paper from TPS Boys Will Be Boys paper pad.  The square images were adhered to the background, two with ATG and two with foam tape.  I added a sentiment banner using black in with a stamp from the No Loss For Words set. That stamp set really is a must have!  It has sentiments for every occasion on it.  The finishing touch was a trio of GMD purple enamel dots in the top right corner.

Guess what?  We have a new release coming this Friday!  I am super excited about it because it is very unique and will get me motivated for Halloween projects.  It is called the Ghost Pack and will be live on August 28th with limited quantities, so set a reminder to check back here on the blog that day for more info on it!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Happy Birthday Cowboy

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

I have a surprise to share today but first let me show you a card I made using the Raisin Boat Giddy Up stamp set. I've actually used this stamp set several times - but it was always the horse stamp in the set that I inked up. I do love that horse!

Today I'm using a different stamp though - the Cowboy Hat and also the word Cowboy. I also used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Raisin Boat No Loss for Words stamp set.

It's not always easy to make a guy card, but Giddy Up sure helps!

Now... about that surprise. Actually I have a sneak peek for you - something fun is coming to  SumMore Fun next week. Are you ready???

Yep, it's going to be a lot of fun! Check out the blog often this week - I'm pretty sure there will be some more sneak peeks.

Thanks again for stopping by the blog.

Bubbly Birthday Card

Good morning crafty friends! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this fun birthday card.  How many of you like to use die cuts for the focal point on your creations?  Don't worry! SumMore Fun has your sentiment stamps covered too!  The one I used is from the SMF Soda-Lighted stamp set.

I created the shaped card around the soda bottle die cut from Doodlebug Design using my Silhouette Cameo. Berry Trendy Twine was a great match for the bottle, so I wrapped that around the card base and tied it in a bow.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment from SMF Soda-Lighted using Scrapbook.com Leather ink.  A fun yet simple card complete!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Drive-By Birthday Parade

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

I've been thinking a bit this week about the things that have been different during the pandemic... there certainly have been some adjustments, haven't there? One thing I've been impressed with is the creative ways that people have been celebrating birthdays, things like drive-by parades where horns are honking, people are singing Happy Birthday out of as they drive slowly by, and even giving presents to the one celebrating the birthday.

So, I decided to create a drive-by Birthday Parade on a card.

I used the Raisin Boat Off to Party stamp set, which has so many options for customizing the license plate and other features, too.

Party!

80th Birthday Farm Card

Good morning crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  One of my favorite stamp sets is the Raisin Boat Homegrown set.  I have used it so many times but never run out of ideas for it.  This time I made a card for an uncle who was celebrating his 80th birthday!

I stamped the barn and grass from Homegrown onto white cardstock first using black ink, then masked the barn and stamped the field of crops in Olive ink.  The tractor from Homegrown was stamped on a different piece of cardstock and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  The barn and tractor were colored with Artify Markers.  I used blending brushes to create the clouds and shade the grass area with Scrapbook.com inks in Sky Blue and Olive.  The tractor was popped up with foam tape.  I cut the 80 out with my Cameo three times and glued them together for extra dimension.  The finishing touch was three enamel dots in the top right corner.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Homespun Sunflower

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

One of my favorite stamps from the SumMore Fun store is the Large Sunflower stamp. It is, as its name indicates, a pretty large stamp. It does fit on an A2 size card, but it takes up most of the space. That's okay - I've used it that way many times and it makes a very striking presence.

For today's card I did something a bit different though. I stamped the image and then die-cut it using a die that didn't fit the entire image.

Thanks again for stopping by the blog.

Chicken BAWK! Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  I will be posting on Wednesdays for now.  Today I am sharing the last of my chicken cards that I created using the new chicken stamps from SumMore Fun.  I really love them!  This card features the Raisin Boat Chicken Soup stamp set, but don't forget we also have the Raisin Boat Chicken Coop stamp set available too!
I started by using the chicken wire stamp from the Chicken Soup set and stamping it randomly in the following colors of Scrapbook.com ink: Charcoal, Cinnamon, Sugar Cookie, and Olive.  I stamped the sentiment onto the background with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear powder.  For the focal point, I stamped the chicken from the Chicken Soup set with SB.com black ink and colored it with Artify alcohol markers.  Both the background and chicken panel were die cut with GMD wonky stitched rectangle dies.  The chicken panel was popped up with foam tape.  I accented the card with red and black carstock layers then embellished with Red and Black Pearl Pen dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Chicken Soup Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  It will be my last Sunday for a while and I will transition back to my previous Wednesday SMF postings.  Today I am sharing a card that features stamps from the new Raisin Boat Chicken Soup stamp set.
I stamped the chicken in a pot stamp onto white cardstock and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  I then colored the image with my Artify Alcohol markers and am really happy with how it turned out!  I popped the image up with foam tape onto two die cut scalloped circles.  The gingham and silverware layers are from DCWV's Nana's Kitchen stack and  were die cut with a border die.  I stamped a sentiment from the Chicken Soup set in black onto the patterned paper and added embellishments of jute ribbon, Silver Pearl Pen and Blue Pearl Pen.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Happy Birthday with Banners

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Today's card is a bit different than what you'd normally find here on the blog. This one doesn't have any amazing images on it - even though we all know that SumMore Fun has fabulous stamp sets featuring a wide variety of images. Instead today's card is my attempt to show you that sometimes it's okay to use just a sentiment - from one of the SumMore Fun, Raisin Boat, and/or Victorine Originals stamp sets.

The Birthday sentiment is from the Raisin Boat Puppy Love stamp set.
Of course, that's just one of many sets I could have chosen a sentiment from so be sure to check out
the SumMore Fun store for more options.
