Clothes Line Ghost Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with one more Halloween card...for now anyway.  This card was created with the Raisin Boat Sheet Happens stamp set.  I think the stamps in that set are a hoot!
I stamped the image and sentiment from Sheet Happens using Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink and colored the image with Artify alcohol markers.  I die cut around the stamps with a GMD Wonky Stitched Rectangle die, then using blending brushes, I added Scrapbook.com Sky Blue and Pine inks around the rectangle.  The background was created with white cardstock embossed with a Cuttlebug Skeleton Scroll embossing folder and a strip of patterned paper.  The stamped panel was popped up with foam tape onto the background.  I kept the embellishments simple by adding a trio of GMD Plum Tree enamel dots.  There you have it!  A simple yet humorous Halloween card!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

North Pole Bound

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I don't know if you've noticed, but the SumMore Fun store has some stamp sets that are marked down for liquidation AND they have some stamp sets that can be purchased in a used form, saving consumers some money. It's worth checking out.

That's exactly what I did a couple of weeks ago and I snagged a great deal on the Raisin Boat Signs of Santa stamp set and another set, too. AND... in case you didn't know, shipping is free at SumMore Fun. WOW! That's awesome!

I paired the Signs of Santa stamp set with another Raisin Boat stamp set (Winter Heart and Sole) to make a card to share today.

Here's the inside:

Trick or Treat Ghost Card

Hello friends! Beth from Beth's Beauties back with a fun Halloween card.  The stamp set I used is the Raisin Boat Boo Hoo set.  It was part of the Ghost Pack that was sold out after a short time a couple weeks ago, but it can be purchased individually at this time.
I really had a lot of fun using lots of colors and patterns with this card!  I started out by stamping the images and sentiment from the Boo Hoo set with Scrapbook.com black hybrid ink and colored the images with Artify alcohol markers.  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut around the ghost, pumpkin basket and all those tiny candies.  That saved me a lot of work!  I layered up multiple Halloween patterned papers, including a vellum spiderweb one and the orange one with a die cut edge.  I then wrapped Grape Limeade Trendy Twine around the card front.
I glued on the sentiment and candies with tacky glue, but popped up the ghost and pumpkin with foam tape.  I even added Glossy Accents to the candies and ghost eyes to make them really shine!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thinking of You

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! If you've subscribed to received updates from SumMore Fun you received an email letting you know that the Arboretum Leaves stamp set is back in stock - just in time for our Autumn crafting. You can find the set in the online store - HERE.

Of course I had to pull out my set and make a card.

I wanted the leaf/sentiment to be embossed to give it a rich depth. However, I didn't have any autumn-colored embossing powders (due to a zealous purge earlier this year). No problem. I used my Misti to stamp the image/sentiment with Pumpkin Spice Ink and then stamped again, using Versamark so I could emboss it with Crystal Clear Embossing Powder.

Sheet Happens! Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with another fun Halloween card.  I really love the personality of the ghost stamp sets that were included in the Ghost Pack we released earlier!  This card was created with the Raisin Boat Sheet Happens stamp set.
I stamped the image and sentiment from Sheet Happens using Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink and colored the image with Artify alcohol markers.  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut around the image.  The striped paper was from the sold out Ghost Pack, but I jazzed it up by adding some Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink onto it by using the smooshing technique.  I thought that color matched the "paint" color from the can well!  It really looked like the ghost had quite the painting mishap!  I added two die buttons die cut with a Cottage Cutz button die and embellished with Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  This is not your normal Halloween card and I love that!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Crocus Birthday Card

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! For a week now, Beth and I have been sharing cards using the Ghost Pack and its two stamp sets - Boo Hoo and Sheet Happens. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the sets and seeing what Beth made with them, too. Today I decided I'd go with a different set, though.

Summer is winding down; it's difficult to believe that it's already September. Soon the leaves will begin to change colors, the grass will not need to be mowed (or at least, not as often, and the flowers will wilt and die. I do love fall, but I also hate when the flowers are gone... so today I'm going to focus on flowers - the Crocus Cravings stamp set, to be precise.

I was going to color the stem green but decided I kind of liked the artsy look of it without coloring. What do you think?

Trick or Treat

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Beth and I have been sharing cards that we've made with the Ghost Pack for a few days now. I hope you've enjoyed them. Sadly, if you didn't jump fast and order the Ghost Pack, it is now too late. It's sold out. BUT... you can still purchase the stamp sets individually.

I used the Boo Hoo stamp set for my card today - and since we can't get the designer papers that were in the Ghost Pack any more, I decided to show you one way you can create your own designer paper with the stamp set.

I took a piece of colored designer paper and stamped the Trick or Treat stamp randomly all over it for some fun paper. Because the stamps are clear it is very easy to see where you're stamping.

Pink Halloween Card

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties back again with an adorable, non-traditional Halloween card.  If you have followed my blog for a while, you know that I am all about cute projects for Halloween and this one just oozes CUTE!  The stamp set that I used is the Raisin Boat Boo Hoo set.
How did I make this card?  I started by making the background paper customized.  Both the eyes and striped paper were part of the Ghost Pack that SumMore Fun released over the weekend (but is now sold out!). I foiled the eyes with gold, then used Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and a blending brush to make it pink.  I spritzed it with water to get a speckled appearance, then inked around the edges with Scrapbook.com Candy Shop Pink hybrid ink. I added a die cut circle of vellum to the pink paper then adhered the striped paper that was matted with black and wrapped with Pink Licorice Trendy Twine. The sentiment is from the Boo Hoo stamp set and was also in Candy Shop Pink ink.
Now onto the fun part...THAT IMAGE!! Now honestly, when have you ever seen a cuter ghost? I haven't!  It is from the Raisin Boat Boo Hoo set.  I stamped it with Scrapbook.com black hybrid ink and colored it with Artify alcohol markers. It is die cut with a GMD stitched rectangle die. Ready for the fun part?  I placed it on an action wobble so it moves!  The finishing touches were black matte enamel dots and a bow of Pink Licorice Trendy Twine on the ghost's head.  I think this will be a perfect card for my niece :)

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Good Clean Fun

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

Oh my goodness... the Ghost Pack that Beth and I have been telling you about has sure been popular. I hope you were able to get one! It really is a great bundle.

Today I have another card I made from the Ghost Pack - this one features the Sheet Happens stamp set and one of the designer papers from the pack, too.

I love the ghost in the washing machine! He sure looks dizzy - I guess going through a spin cycle will do that to you, though.

Halloween should be good clean fun, for sure!

Contents of the Ghost Pack:

3 -orange card bases
3 -white card bases

So what do I have for you today?? A slimline shaker card!  I had a lot of fun creating it!  Items I used from the Ghost Pack include the striped cardstock and Raisin Boat Boo Hoo stamp set.
The image and sentiment were stamped with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink.  I colored the image with Artify alcohol markers.  I prepared the striped cardstock by distressing it with Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Faded Jeans, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber.  I just laid the ink on my glass mat, spritzed it with water then saturated a paint brush with it and splattered away!
After that was dry, I cut a hole in the center to frame the stamped image.  I adhered acetate and foam tape around the rectangle then added polymer clay slices, sequins, and candy pieces that were stamped from the Boo Hoo stamp set, colored, and cut with my Brother Scan N Cut.  Once the shaker was assembled, I embellished the front with Gray Licorice Trendy Twine, the sentiment. and more stamped candies!

Keep in mind that quantities are limited for the Ghost Pack!  Once they are gone, you will not be able to get any of the cute extras included with the stamp sets.  Remember the Chicken Pack that we released in July?  That sold out over one weekend, so don't wait to grab this set!

Football Birthday Card + Sneak Peek!

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this football birthday card for a nephew who is a Vikings fan.  It features two Raisin Boat stamp sets called First Down and No Loss For Words.

I started by stamping the four images from First Down onto white cardstock in black ink, then coloring them with Artify alcohol markers.  I then die cut around them with GMD square dies and matted those with black cardstock.  The background of the card is paper from TPS Boys Will Be Boys paper pad.  The square images were adhered to the background, two with ATG and two with foam tape.  I added a sentiment banner using black in with a stamp from the No Loss For Words set. That stamp set really is a must have!  It has sentiments for every occasion on it.  The finishing touch was a trio of GMD purple enamel dots in the top right corner.

Guess what?  We have a new release coming this Friday!  I am super excited about it because it is very unique and will get me motivated for Halloween projects.  It is called the Ghost Pack and will be live on August 28th with limited quantities, so set a reminder to check back here on the blog that day for more info on it!

Happy Birthday Cowboy

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

I have a surprise to share today but first let me show you a card I made using the Raisin Boat Giddy Up stamp set. I've actually used this stamp set several times - but it was always the horse stamp in the set that I inked up. I do love that horse!

Today I'm using a different stamp though - the Cowboy Hat and also the word Cowboy. I also used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Raisin Boat No Loss for Words stamp set.

It's not always easy to make a guy card, but Giddy Up sure helps!

Now... about that surprise. Actually I have a sneak peek for you - something fun is coming to  SumMore Fun next week. Are you ready???

Yep, it's going to be a lot of fun! Check out the blog often this week - I'm pretty sure there will be some more sneak peeks.

Bubbly Birthday Card

Good morning crafty friends! Beth from Beth's Beauties here today with this fun birthday card.  How many of you like to use die cuts for the focal point on your creations?  Don't worry! SumMore Fun has your sentiment stamps covered too!  The one I used is from the SMF Soda-Lighted stamp set.

I created the shaped card around the soda bottle die cut from Doodlebug Design using my Silhouette Cameo. Berry Trendy Twine was a great match for the bottle, so I wrapped that around the card base and tied it in a bow.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment from SMF Soda-Lighted using Scrapbook.com Leather ink.  A fun yet simple card complete!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Drive-By Birthday Parade

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

I've been thinking a bit this week about the things that have been different during the pandemic... there certainly have been some adjustments, haven't there? One thing I've been impressed with is the creative ways that people have been celebrating birthdays, things like drive-by parades where horns are honking, people are singing Happy Birthday out of as they drive slowly by, and even giving presents to the one celebrating the birthday.

So, I decided to create a drive-by Birthday Parade on a card.

I used the Raisin Boat Off to Party stamp set, which has so many options for customizing the license plate and other features, too.

Party!
