Sundri's High Tea Sneak Peek + GIVEAWAY!

Hello everyone!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here.  This week SumMore Fun is sharing projects that are created from their stamp set "Sundri's High Tea".  It will be available to purchase on Friday, July 19th!  Without further ado, here is the card that I made for release week.
I went with a CAS design, which is unusual for me.  I stamped the teacup onto the white cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I then watercolored the image with an aqua brush and Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, and Pumice Stone.  The pink cardstock at the bottom was stamped randomly with rose stamps in Worn Lipstick DO ink.  The sentiment was stamped in black on top of that.  Once the card front was matted with black and mint cardstock, I added Silver Pearl Pen dots.

***Now for the giveaway info!!***

I will be giving away a cardmaker's pack of Sundri's High Tea to someone who comments on this post!  For an extra chance, head on over to Beth's Beauties blog and comment there as well.  Since this is a physical package that will need to be mailed, US addresses only, please!
The cardmaker's pack includes Sundri's High Tea photopolymer stamp set, sticker sheet, and 12 - 6x6" scrapbook papers.  Winner will be chosen and posted on my blog this Friday, the 19th.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Sneak Peek - Sundri's High Tea

It's time for another sneak peek of a brand new High Tea stamp set!

You'll get to see the whole set on Friday July 19 and you're going to love it.

I've used one of the beautiful background papers from the set to which I've added some faux stitching plus the tea bag and the sentiment 'wishing you warmth and love'.  I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used a stitched die to cut out the image panel to coordinate with the faux stitching.

Remember to come back on Friday to see the whole set plus lots more inspiration from everyone.

Until then, don't forget to check out all the other products at www.summorefun.com

Sneak Peek Time + a Giveaway

Do you like sneak peeks? If so, this week is a good week to visit the SumMore Fun blog because the design team (and some guests) will be sharing sneak peeks of the new stamp set that will be released this Friday.

And we're having Giveaways this week, too. For a chance to win a gift package (which includes the Sundri's High Tea stamp set and some other goodies) all you need to do is leave a comment below. For another chance to win the giveaway, go to my blog and leave a comment on the post there, too. HERE is the link for that blog post. I'll randomly select one person to win the prize. The only limitation is you must be in the United States to win. BUT don't delay in commenting - you have through Wednesday to do so, in order to have an opportunity to win. The winner will be announced on Friday.

It's Tea Time!

I used blending brushes to blend three colors of ink (orange, pink, and yellow tones) onto white cardstock. I stamped the images onto that blended paper and then fussy cut them out. I thought it gave the teapot and cup a pretty coloring. I also stamped the sentiment on a scrap of my "blended" paper.

I hope you have SumMore Fun today:

Wishing you warmth and love - New Release !!!

Hello, hello
it is a great honor and pleasure to be guest designing for SumMoreFun :) Their designs are absolutely gorgeous!

For you today I have a very elegant card I made using the new High Tea set!
It is absolutely adorraabbbleee! You can make so many projects with it! From cards to tags and why not, albums :)

Today I have a sneak peek :)) just to tease you.

My card is made as a miniature art journaling page :)
I used washi tape, music sheet, gesso and acrylics, mixed media sprays and s piece of vellum in order to get the background for my lovely tea cup.

The tea cup is printed and colored using Promarkers. I also added some Glossy Accents just for the effect. I cut using an exacto knife, the upper part of the cup so that I can insert the tea bag.
I think it really adds a little extra something to the whole concept.

The sentiment is also from the set.

But, as I mentioned before, this is just a sneak peek. You will get to see the whole set on Friday, July 19th.

Until then, you can go here -> www.summorefun.com and check out the other amazing supplies!

Stay tuned for the 19th :) Huggies all and stay safe!

High Teas and a Giveaway

Good morning, Sharon here from Fiddly Diddly Cards and Crafts with a sneak peek of what is to come on Friday - a brand new kit with lots of lovely crafty bits!!

I am a tea lover and this chintzy very English set could have come across the Atlantic with us when we moved!

There are lots of components to the kit but today I just used the papers and stamp set.

I positioned the teapot and roses on my Tim Holtz stamp platform (which incidentally is on offer over at SumMore Fun)  and inked them with memento ink. This image was then colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.
I then used 2 of the papers to mat and layer my 6x6 inch card base. The image on the bottom right corner is printed on the papers!!! A third paper was then cut into a border and added across the center of my card.
Using Versamark ink I inked the sentiment and then white embossed it. A white doily was then added to keep with the paper theme.
I added an action wobbler to my teapot and adhered this to the center of the doily. I have used this technique in a previous card - it allows the teapot to tip:

As well as a sneak peek I have a full kit of the High Tea to giveaway to one person who comments on the coinciding blog post over on my blog.

The giveaway will be open until Saturday 20th July so if you like what you see please leave me a comment, you never know you could be the winner!

Thanks for stopping by, my teamies will be sharing their sneak peeks this week and the full kit will be revealed on the 19th July!

Confirmation Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses stamps from the Raisin Boat Handle With Prayer stamp set.  The physical stamp set is currently not available, but you can grab the digis to create a card like this one!
Once the stamps were placed on the paper how I liked them, I die cut it with a GMD wonky stitched square die.  I then blended Distress Oxides in Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Fired Brick with makeup brushes to create a sunset appearance.  I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut around the dove and popped that up with foam tape.  I matted the sunset paper onto a black square and added strips of coordinating washi tape to the card base before adhering the stamped layers.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thank You!

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today.

I was in need of a quick/easy thank you card and I suppose I'm not the only person who finds myself with that need. Therefore I decided that today I'd share one that is so easy to make, thanks to one of the great stamps in the Raisin Boat Talking in Circles stamp set. But if you're interested in getting this set you need to hurry because it's on clearance at a ridiculously low price.

The Thank you Circle is so versatile and attractive. The close up shows how nicely it stamps. I love the uniformity of the dashes around the circle.

You Can Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the SumMore Fun You Can stamp set.  It just so happens to be at a steal of a price of $5.99!
I stamped all of the stamps using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and my stamp platform onto MAMBI breast cancer patterned paper.  For the "YOU CAN" I heat embossed it with Zing silver glitter embossing powder to add a little glitz!  I added Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine to the area between the two patterned papers and dots of Pink Glitter Pearl Pen by the script words.  Now this card is ready to send out for encouragement!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Doggone It!

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today.

Today's card makes me think of my school days - when the kid (you know who he/she was) would ALWAYS have an excuse... "Teacher, my dog ate my homework." She didn't believe the excuse, of course. Would you?

Now, I'm going to do something quite unusual. I'm going to show you the inside of my card first so that you'll understand why this card makes me thing of good old school days.

I'm sorry!
My dog ate your birthday present!

Or rather... I should say DOGGONE IT!

This is such a fun stamp set!!!

Oh, the possibilities!

Root Beer Float Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat Crunch Time stamp set.  I made it for my brother in law's birthday, which happens to be today.
I started out by stamping the image and sentiment onto white cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossing it with black powder.  I die cut the rectangle with a wonky stitched rectangle die and proceeded to watercolor the image with Distress Oxide inks.  I used the following colors:  Vintage Photo, Candied Apple, and Pumice Stone.  I embellished the frothy areas of the image with a snow marker.  Other elements used on this card include plaid paper from DCWV's Luxe Lodge stack, ribbon, and brads.
I also wanted to show you the inside sentiments I added to the card.  I am a person who keeps the inside of a card simple, so there is no extra decoration there, just the fun stamps from the Raisin Boat Crunch Time stamp set!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Robot Birthday

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today.

Do you ever need a birthday card for a child? If so, I'd recommend checking out the Raisin Boat Robo Party stamp set - and good news! It's on sale! You can find it in the SumMore Fun online store - HERE.

There are so many fun images in this set; I had a difficult time choosing which one/s to use on my card for today. I ended up choosing just two, plus a sentiment, but I can assure you I will be using this stamp set again soon.

I actually stamped the balloon right on top of the robot image, making it look like just one image.

Lily Sympathy Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat In Loving Memory stamp set from SumMore Fun.
I started out by stamping the single lily from the In Loving Memory stamp set onto white cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossing it with regular white embossing powder.  I then ran it through a laminator with a gold foil sheet to get the beautiful foiled image.  For extra color, I used Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink, smeared it on my craft mat, spritzed it with water, then dabbed my stamped image into the ink.  I just LOVE how the oxidation created different colors!  I used a GMD pleated square die to cut around the flower and popped it up with foam tape.
All of the patterned papers are from DCWV's Lilac Love stack.  I stamped a sentiment from the In Loving Memory stamp set using Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  Lastly, I added a few dots of gold Pearl pen!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Farmers Make Such a Difference

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today.

I live in the middle of farm country which has given me a first-hand view of the difficulties farmers have experienced this year, at least in our area. The weather has not been kind to them - flooding out crops or flooding even before the crops were planted.

Since they've been on my mind, I decided to use two Raisin Boat stamp sets (Homegrown and Flourishing Thoughts) to make a card to send to a good friend who is a farmer.

And here's a tip - when you go to the Victorine Originals (SumMore Fun) online store, be sure to check out the pricing options before you place the set in the shopping cart. Many of the stamp sets have a temporary liquidation price and/or a used price, either of which will save you some money.

But I digress. Here is my card...

I normally color with Copic markers, but for this card I chose to use my Prisma Watercolor Pencils instead.

The sentiments (the front and the inside) are both from the Flourishing Thoughts stamp set.

Speaking of the inside of my card, here it is...

Foiled Floral Cards

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The cards I am sharing with you use the Victorine Originals Floral and Sayings stamp set.
On these cards, I tried my hand at foiling for the first time!  I love the shiny metallic finish it gives, but it is hard to capture that in photos.  For this anniversary card, I stamped the floral bouquet from the Floral and Sayings stamp set onto white paper using VersaMark ink and heat embossed with regular white embossing powder.  I always use my stamp platform when embossing!  I then ran the stamped paper with a piece of foil (shiny side up) through my laminator (no carrier sheet).  When the paper was cool, I peeled off the foil to reveal the image!
I used various oval dies to cut around the floral design and added a Happy Anniversary sticker to the center.  I embellished with Pearl Pen dots in Gold and Ice White and white seam binding ribbon.
For my second card, I followed the same foiling process except I used an ultrafine embossing powder and it gave a more bold foiled image.  I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Floral and Sayings stamp set in black.  I added a double bow of Pink Midnight Trendy Twine in the bottom right corner.
See that metallic shine?!  It definitely makes an eye-catching card!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Music Rocks My World

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team (and from Cre8tive Play). I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog today.

Today's post might be a bit noisy - since it's featuring an amazing drum set.

Just look at the amazing detail on the drum set:

The stamps that I used on this card are from the Raisin Boat Rock Star stamp set. I am certain I'll be using this stamp set again and again.

Happy Father's Day Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Victorine Originals Large Happy Father's Day red rubber stamp.  It can also be purchased as part of the To My Parents set, which is on clearance right now!
I started out by prepping the background using watercolor paper and Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, and Vintage Photo.  I had a large acrylic block that I smeared the inks on, spritzed it with water, then turned the block over onto the watercolor paper.  I added weight onto the block and let it set for 5 minutes, then removed the block.  When it was dry, I flicked some white acrylic paint onto the background then heat set the whole paper.  I stamped the Happy Father's Day stamp using VersaFine Onyx Black and clear embossing powder.  I always use a stamp platform with watercolor paper due to the texture of it making it hard to get a complete stamped image the first time.  I added white gel pen accents to the word "father's" and a few silver Pearl Pen dots to finish it off.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
