Merry Nature Tag

Hello and Happy Thursday

I am honoured to be guest designer for December and January.
This is my second post and it's a quick and cute winter tag.
I hope you enjoy.

I created this tag using a scrap of a galaxy background I had previously created and used for another card.  Could not waste any of it as I just loved how it turned out.

Merry Nature (10286-Z)

I created this background using the Gansi Tambi water colours and just added to some canon paper very loosely
(for more details on the background head to my blog)

I didn't actually have any more tags in my stash, so I took one that I had already finished and traced the shape on to the back of the galaxy paper, I cut it out and rounded the corners with my
We R Memory keeper corner rounder.

From there I pulled out the Merry Nature stamp set and my Misti and stamped out the big beautiful tree three time using pine needle distress oxide.  I had to readjust the height each time I stamped to give it some dimension.

Once the trees were dried a bit I went in with a sponge and some white Gesso I added the ink onto the stamp in away that it would just add just the right about of snow to the tree.  From there I pulled out some scrap white paper and my stitched lawn fawn die.  I created a little hill to ground my trees and bring it all together.  I added white glitter to the stitched lines.

I pulled out a small snowflake stencil and some Nuvo glimmer paste and went over the whole scene just to add a little extra sparkle.

I finished off the tag with the sentiment from the set, which said "In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous - Aristotle".  I heat embossed this with gold powder onto a vellum strip.  I added some gold ribbon to tie everything together.

Thank you, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays
 Seasons Greetings
