Hot Dog Wobble Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat Canines in Costume stamp set.  I just love how fun that set is!
I stamped the wiener dog from the Canines in Costume stamp set onto white cardstock using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, then watercolored it with Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo, and Weathered Wood).  The white and black ovals were die cut with Slash Stitched Oval Dies.  I even added an Action Wobble between those two layers so the dog would wiggle :)  I also stamped the Hot Dog sentiment from the same stamp set onto the yellow banner with black ink.
Here is a close up of the Action Wobble.  My boys all LOVED trying it out!  Other products used on this card include papers from the DCWV Good Eats stack and coordinating sequins.

Remember, we have a monthly "All Dressed Up" challenge going on right right now in the SumMore Fun Creations Facebook group!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Crocus Cravings Wreath

Hello, Jeanette here from the design team. I'm so glad you've stopped by today. I don't know about you, but I'm needing some warm weather - and FLOWERS! Yes, sad to say, but I'm already tired of the cold temperatures and snow and it's just barely past Thanksgiving.

What's a girl to do? Stay inside where it's warm... and color flowers, of course.

Aren't they pretty?
They are from the

And right now is the perfect time to make a purchase at SumMore Fun.... because this is day 3 of a 4-day sale at the site. The discount code is: BLACKFRIDAY. All of the stamps are 50% off! Everything on clearance will be marked down to $2.00. That includes dies, embossing folders and clearance stamp sets. AND... there will be bonus items included with qualifying orders.

WOW! Let's go shopping!!!

You might have noticed that there isn't a leaf in the stamp set, yet there are two leaves in the floral wreath on my card. Yep, that would be true! See that single flower on the right of the stamp set above I colored the flower GREEN and fussy cut just that one petal out to make a leaf. And then I did it again to make a second leaf. Works for me.

I think I feel better about the weather now that I've experienced a breath of spring with the Crocus Cravings stamp set.

Have a great day! And come back again soon!!!

All Dressed Up for a Wedding

Hello, Jeanette here from the design team. Thanks for stopping by the blog today.

In case you didn't know, we're over halfway through the current month-long challenge at SumMore Fun. You still have time to participate but don't delay.

Be sure to post a photo of your entry in the challenge album in the Facebook group SumMore Fun Creations. You could win a $20 gift card to the SumMore Fun store.

Challenge Theme: All Dressed Up

What do you think of when you think of the words All Dressed Up? Perhaps it's because my son just got married a couple of months ago, but when I think of All Dressed Up, I think of weddings.

One of the rules for participating in the SumMore Fun challenges is you must use a SumMore Fun stamp/image (it can even be one of the digi ones). In case you're not sure what SumMore Fun stamps are, you have a variety to choose from - Raisin Boat, Victorine Originals, Double D, Mirkwood Designs, LDStamps, Deb’s Designs and Brenny Lou Designs brands.

For my card I used the Victorine Originals Wedding Wishes stamp.

The pictures don't show it well, but some of the flowers have a glittery look to them.

This card was actually super easy to make. It's just one piece of designer paper, the stamped sentiment with a mat of black card stock, and some paper flowers and a few pearls.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll make for the SumMore Fun "All Dressed Up" Challenge.

For You Rose Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The card I am sharing with you uses SumMore Fun's A Rose By Any Other Name stamp set.
I stamped the image and sentiment on watercolor paper using my stamp platform and Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I then brushed Sparkling Unicorn Spit (samples) on my craft mat and spritzed them with water then tapped my paper into the colors.  The colors I used were Starling Sasha, Violet Vulture, and Golden Gosling.  I then used a thin paintbrush to paint the roses with Violet Vulture Unicorn Spit and some of the other elements with Golden Gosling Unicorn Spit.  Click on the picture below for it to zoom in so you can see how beautiful the sparkle is with the Sparkling Unicorn Spit!!
To finish the card off, I matted the stamped panel with black and patterned cardstock, then added purple enamel dots and Glitter Pink Pearl Pen dots which added just a little more sparkle and shine to it!

Remember, we have a monthly challenge going on right right now in the SumMore Fun Creations Facebook group!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Tu Tu Amazing

Hello, Jeanette here with the design team with a card I've made using the On Pointe stamp set. It is a lovely set that has a variety of images and sentiments that blend together so well.

This stamp set is tu tu amazing!

Just look at it. There are elegant ballerinas, awesome sentiments, and oh-so-many possibilities with this set!

I used one of the ballerina images and three of the sentiment stamps - yes 3. The sentiment on my card is actually 3 separate stamps in the set, but I lined them up on my stamping platform and was able to stamp them into three rows that go together pretty uniformly. It worked pretty well.

I wanted my ballerina to dazzle, so I colored it first with Copic markers; then I added highlights on her tu tu with an Amazapen Glitter Gel Pen. It doesn't show up very well in the picture, but it really is a nice touch.

My card is pretty simple, just some layers of designer paper (that I've matted with black card stock to give them a contrasting look). The image and sentiment were die-cut with circle dies. I added a bit of ribbon and an over-sized heart-shaped brad for embellishments.

I hope you like my card!

Before you go, let me remind you that the SumMore Fun "All Dressed Up" Challenge is still going on! You have time to enter.... and I hope you will! Be sure to check out the rules HERE and then create a card using SumMore Fun stamps to enter the All Dressed Up Challenge for a chance to win a PRIZE.

Thanks for stopping by today!

You Are Amazing Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the SMF On Pointe stamp set.
I stamped the image and sentiment from the SMF On Pointe stamp set with brown ink because I wanted a softer image to blend with the whole shabby chic feel of the card.  I die cut around the image with a stitched oval die then accented the image with Pearl Pen in Glitter Pink and Pearl Pink.  The shine and glitter on her dress is so beautiful in real life!  I matted that with a kraft die cut oval and popped that up with foam tape on a die cut lace square.
I added the sentiment banner with foam tape and embellished it with a dot of Pearl Pink Pearl Pen on each end.  The only other embellishment I used was Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  The patterned papers are from The Paper Studio's Boho Vibes paper pad.
Remember, we have a monthly challenge going on right right now in the SumMore Fun Creations Facebook group!  It has a theme of All Dressed Up, so enter your projects that fit that theme today.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Bubbly Birthday

Hello - Jeanette here from the design team with a card I made with one of the newly released stamp sets from SumMore Fun. I love the Soda-lighted stamp set with its awesome images (what's not to love about a can of bubbly cola, right?) and great sentiments!

Now I know - because I've lived a lot of places - that some geographical areas call it Soda. Others call it Pop. (Some areas even refer to all of them as Coke.) My Grandpa always called it Soda Pop, unless he was teasing me about trading my Grandma off for Sodie-Pop

I tried to play it safe and used the Cola stamp on my can:

I added some "bubbly" rhinestones to some of the bubbles
to give it some dimension:

The little strip of balloons (on the blue bubbles designer paper) is some Washi Tape.
I thought it added a festive touch to my card.

Such a fun card to make with a SumMore Fun stamp set. Be sure to head over to the SumMore Fun online store and check out all of the awesome stamps and products available.
