Mood Board #38 Wedding Wishes

Hello, Jeanette here from the design team. We are now a few days into the Mood Board #38 challenge... have you been creating yet? I hope you will because someone is going to win a prize and it might as well be you. Besides, this mood board is full of possibilities, just waiting for your creativity.

I used the Victorine Originals Wedding Wishes rubber stamp for the focal part of my card. You'll also noticed I used the color scheme of the mood board.

Of course, what wedding is complete without flowers... so my card needed flowers. The I added one Stickles glitter glue to the edges of some of the flowers to give them some sparkle. The flower centers are either rhinestones (for more sparkle) or brads.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. You can find me here every Sunday and you can find me on my personal blog any day of the week.

Quick, Cute Tags!

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations

I thought I would share a couple of Cute Christmas Tags
I made using the Raisin Boat Stamp Set - Holiday Wishes

Aren't they just so FUN! I made them pretty quickly too -
I die cut the pieces out with extra Scraps in my Scrap bin

This first tag is (#237925) from the Silhouette Studio Store
It was supposed to have mittens, but I didn't cut them because
I had a Christmas tree I made a long time ago - it was in
my Stash bin as well - I know the embossing folder is called
Devine Swirls and I used my Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the
swirls and added some tiny clear adhesive gems -  I attached
it to the one side of the tag and added a glitter enamel star on top

Then I stamped my Sentiment in the white circle that was cut out
and attached it to the green scallop base - Placed it on the other side
of my tag and then added some crinkle ribbon & Trendy Twine
to Finish off this tag!

This tag is (#237937) from the Silhouette Studio Store -
I added some Gems to my snowflakes & used my
Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the snowflakes as well,  then attached
them to my tag - then stamped my sentiment and attached it
to its green frame then added dimensionals to the
back of it so it would pop up a little -
Added some Green Crinkled Ribbon and Trendy Twine
and it's all done!

Fun Happy Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  The card I am sharing with you uses the beautiful Victorine Originals Happy Birthday stamp.
I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto patterned paper from The Paper Studio's Treat Yourself 6"x6" paper pad.  I trimmed that into a large banner shape and layered it with black cardstock.  I wrapped Totally Lemon Trendy Twine around the banner and added dots of Pearl Pen (Pearl Pink) on the banner before mounting it with foam tape onto the card base.  I just love how that Happy Birthday stamp makes such a bold statement on the card!

Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Watercolored Jack-o'-lantern Card

Hello there! Jessica here from Polka Dot Orchard... How many of you lovely crafters love Halloween? I do not get into the Halloween crafting as much as some other crafters do but when I saw this adorable jack-o'-lantern pumpkin stamp I knew I had to have it.

For the most part, this card was pretty easy to create. That adorable set of jack-o'-lanterns is a Victorian Original stamp that SumMore Fun carries. Using my MISTI stamping tool and Versafine Black Ink I stamped it on to some Canson 90 lb watercolor paper. I then painted it with Prima Watercolor Confections using some Derwent water brushes. Since this watercolor paper is on the thinner side I did the wet to dry technique. I then used my sizzix big kick to cut my image out with a stitched rectangle die, popped it up on some fun foam and layered it on top of some Doodlebug pattern paper. I then added a sentiment banner that was created with a stitched banner die and the Victorine Originals Dot Happy Halloween stamp and then watercolored to match the painted pumpkin panel. I also used some polka dotted washi tape and some coordinating banners. Finishing it off with some sparkly orange sequins.

It's nice having the insides done too so the cards are ready to go, all I have to do is write a nice hand written message. For the inside of the one I stamped the sentiment "May your Halloween night be full of delight". That sentiment is from the Halloween Kids so stamp set. I used scraps left over from the front of my card to embellish the inside, finishing it off with a single sparkly sequin. Well, that's it for today. I hope you enjoyed my card and that I have inspired you in some way. Come back soon for more fun card ideas.

Happy Crafting!

Thanks Tag

Thanks Tag

Good Morning crafty friends.
I am up
today to share a
Tag I made using Raisin Boat's Growing love stamp set and Victorine Originals Large Sunflower stamp.

I started out with a blank tag.
I used Distress Oxides to color my background. I then stamped my images in black ink.
I stamped the sunflower and fussy cut it out and cut it in half to fit where I wanted it.
I also cut one of the leafs, colored it and wrapped in wire.
I used 3D dots to lift up the sunflower, lead and thanks.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

This is Jeanette from the design team. Sundays are my day here on the blog.
I love Sundays! Of course, I think any day is a great day to stop by here.
I wouldn't want to miss seeing what the other design team members are making!

One of my favorite stamp sets is the Victorine Originals Baseball set.
It's vintage and fun. A real classic.

To give the image a more aged look, I first stamped it on ivory card stock with black ink.
Then I sponged distress inks onto it - both a red and a blue.
This gave it a more aged look and helped the image to blend with the designer papers, too.

I matted the image with a layer of red card stock.
I think this helps it show up better on the blue designer paper.

I added a baseball brad and a few white enamel dots, too, and it's finished.

Did I hit a Home Run with this card?

Let me remind you, you still have time to participate in Mood Board Challenge #37.

Someone is going to win a GREAT prize... and it could be YOU!

Ride On

Good morning Sharon from Mollie Moo's Crafty Place here taking over the blog today.

Today's card was made using SumMore Fun's Highway High Stamp set from Raisin Boat

I started with an 7.5 x 7.5 inch white card base and matted this with blue card. I then stamped the motorcycle onto stamping card along with 'Ride On' - one of the many sentiments in the set. I colored the bike using my alcohol markers and matted the image onto the same blue card I had used on my base. I then stamped the wheel, again from the same set, onto black card multiple times with embossing ink. This was then embossed with clear embossing powder before adhering to my card base instead of patterned paper.

This gave a muted but effective background to my main image.

I then added my image to the top left corner of my card base. I die cut Happy Birthday from brushed silver mirror card 3 times and stacked these on top of each other giving the effect of a metal sentiment.
A used a few silver card candi pieces just to balance my design.
