Vintage Snowman

Vintage Snowman

Hey crafty friends, Amy Here and today is my day to take over the blog.
I decided to use the Happy Snowman stamp from Victorine Originals!!
He is just too cute and since I love the way vintage snowman look.
Those would be the colors I went with.
Heres my Card

I started out by stamping my image in brown. I then colored my image with colored pencils. But only the hat and the scarf.
I then added ink to the sides to give a distress look.
I chose my colored papers to match and layered them.
I also added the sentiment Merry Christmas
Using rub ons.

Thinking of You

Happy Saturday everyone,
Heather here taking over the blog today with this adorable little kitty stamp from the Raisin Boat set called Wild About Ewe, Honey.

I needed a thinking of you/get well type message and felt this little guy would brighten anyone's day.  So lets get started with how this came together.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper and stamped the kitty in a dark brown hybrid ink then water colored him, we have an orange tabby that I used as my inspiration.

I then did a distress oxide wash behind him and cut him out with a square rectangle stitched die from my stash.  I went with an A2 sized, top fold dark grey card base and then found some super cute and fun paw print paper in grey colors in my craft room that was perfect.  I cut that down to 4" x 5 1/4" and put it onto the card base where I then laid down the dark grey band and popped up the kitty with some fun foam and put him on top. I wanted to add a sentiment as I am sending this to someone who is very special to our family and needs a pick me up and I immediately grabbed my Victorine Originals Elegant Sayings and used the beautiful Thinking of You.  It was a cute, easy and quick card to make and I am sure it will be loved when it is received.

Have a great day, supplies are pictured below and don't forget to enter into our current challenge. Click on the pictures to link directly to the Mood Board or products used on my card.

Happy Holidays

Hi and welcome back. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper taking over the blog today and sharing a few Happy Holiday cards featuring the Raisin Boat - Treemendous Stamp Set. I love stamp sets that give you loads of creative options and this one does not disappoint.

Both cards are super simple, stamping with your favorite color inks and layering on patterned paper, easy peasy. You can use whatever color ink best matches your background paper. My favorite inks right now are Memento Inks, I've been using Memento for years and they never fail me.

White Rabbit Herald Card

Good morning! Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today. I created this whimsical White Rabbit card to share with you.
The stamp I used is Victorine Originals' Large White Rabbit Herald from Alice in Wonderland.  I stamped and heat embossed the image on white cardstock.  I colored in a few parts with red marker, but kept it very simple.
The rest of the card was built with coordinating patterned papers and rectangle die cuts.  Embellishments include red crinkled seam binding, a metal key, and red adhesive pearls.  For more details on this card, head on over to MY BLOG!
And now for some SUPER EXCITING news!  I submitted this card to Rubber Stamp Madness magazine and much to my surprise it was selected for publication!  It was such an honor to see that in print.
Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Masculine Happy Holidays

Hi and welcome back. Lisa from The Relativity of Paper bringing you a masculine Holiday card. Let me start out by saying, I was really not feeling the Elk Silhouette In Snow Stamp BUT I grew to love it. Hey, I'm just keeping it real! It had nothing to do with the stamp and more to do with me. If you look at previous post by me you will soon understand what I am saying.  The point to my story, try something new, you may surprise yourself. I think this is one of the best masculine cards to date for me and it's really not that complicated.

The first thing I did was stamp the snow globe, color with COPICs and fussy cut the bottom out. I stamped the snow globe again on white cardstock with Gray Flannel Memento Ink, colored the base of the snowglobe dark gray, masked the globe with post-it's, stamped the elk image using Distress Oxide ink - Faded Jeans. Add 3D mounting foam to the cut-out base of the snowglobe and position over stamped base. Add sequins to give it a faux shaker card look and it gives that beautiful shimmer all snowglobes have. Add patterned paper, layer vellum behind stamped image and adhere to patterned paper on cardbase. Stamp sentiment with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss using silver embossing powder.

Corn, Corn, Everywhere

Hello, and happy Sunday!

I grew up on a farm, so the love of all things farm related has been ingrained in me from birth. When I saw this stamp set from Raisin Boat (after I was done swooning), I knew I had to have it! Homegrown is such a beautiful stamp for all things farm! I most definitely plan to use this on some scrapbooking layouts in the future, but for now, I was inspired by the corn stalk.

Here in the midwest, I believe corn harvest is about wrapped up. We've seen so much corn lately, that I thought I'd capitalize on that natural beauty.

I started by stamping my corn stalk in multiple colors, even using some second generation stamping. Once I was happy with my arrangement, I cut an oval shape, and then an additional oval shape for matting.

I added some natural colored twine near the bottom of the corn stalks, and finished that off with a bow.

Inking the edges made the corn pop more off the paper; so I inked all the edges of the cream colored paper in coordinating colors.

I like the sentiment Heaven on Earth as I think it will make the card very versatile. I can see using it for many different occasions.

I added a patterned paper as the background on this 5"x7" card, and then I finished it with some matching brown brads.

Joy Shaker --

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
DT Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!!
YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a Wonderful
Christmas Shaker Card!

Super Simple CAS Style card! I'm using the Lovely Large Joy with Ornament
Stamp - I like that it covers a good portion of my card and that it has
elegant handwriting for that extra flair!

I started, by Heat Embossing the JOY Stamp with Versamark ink & some
(Holly Daze) Embossing powder - It has a Red & Green
mixture in it - After I did that I cut out the center on the ornament.
so I can create my shaker circle -

I used a Stitched Rectangle Die for a nice
bordered edge - I then added a piece of acetate and
used some Scotch Dimension Adhesive to pop up
the backside so I can add my assorted sequins/beads

I cut a Circle out of a piece of Doodlebug Designer paper to cover
over my Shaker ornament Circle, then added more Scotch Dimension Adhesive
for the rest of my 4 x 5 1/4 white card front, so it would
sit evenly on my Hunter Green Card base -

I added a few more sequins to the front of my card, just to
tie it all together - and I really like the classic look of it!

Challenge Card ~ Answering the call

Good Morning,

Today is my day to take over the Victorine Originals Blog. Today I am featuring a card made with a Raisin Boat Stamp from the stamp set Family Circle

I say Challenge Card in the description because I along with all my Design Team sisters were given this set and challenged by the owners of of SumMore Fun (the umbrella company that owns Victorine Originals, Raisin Boat) to create a fast, easy card or project that could be used at stamp and scrapbook events for make and takes. What is a make and take you ask? make-and-take is a hands-on activity where your attendees put together something they can take home with them to use and enjoy.  So without making you wait further here is my card.

Card Recipe:
Started with a piece of pale blue paper from my scrap stash which I stamped the image with blue ink, then I die cut around it using a Sun die. I took some more scrap paper from my stash and die cut 3 banners and glued them to the back of the stamped/diecut image. Lastly I affixed the whole thing to the front of a pre made card base with double sided foam adhesive to make it pop off the card a bit, rhinestones were added to give it a bit of sparkle.

Don't forget there is still time to enter your projects into our current challenge...
Head on over to the Victorine Originals blog and check out their challenge post. You have a few days left to enter your project/s that follow this theme. They do not have to use Victorine Originals stamps on them. We can't wait to see what you create!
I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Thank you for visiting today and have a great day!
